@Acainslie. hondas 4wd is called the limited slip, and it sucks because when one of the front tires has more presure applied to it that wheel stops spinning. You could get a spool locker which locks the front wheels so they're alway moving the same speed, but that will cause it to be a lot harder to stear.
@xXihetsXx True, the honda that is stuck only had One front tire spinning, the One with the least traction. The Locker I have in the red one is awesome but trying to turn on pavement is terrible. Feels like you're gonna rip the handle bars off trying.
@xXxkillme19xXx Sled would be good. Although the guy in the vid that I'm pulling on had a terrible accident on a sled last year a couple days before x-mas. He's still messed up. Sun was in his eyes to the east and pulled out in front of a van going west 60 mph with a trailer. Sled is gone but he's alive. Helmet save him but got knocked off when he bounced over the van onto the trailer.
@camtv98 He's Nowhere near 100% yet. Lost his job, can't see straight and leg is messed up bad. But he's getting around good now working on cars and can drive now. 1 year later.
A person wrote and told me flip them around. Which I did. Worked better. All I know is these are way better than stock. haven't compared them to any other aftermarket tires. In the vid was these up against stock tires that had chains. These proved better.
From what I see they have a locked rear and a limited slip front. The front tires both grab but when in real deep snow with chains on , the one with the least traction will spin more. This was the case with my friends 500. I have a locker in the front. (Very hard to turn on pavement with it though). I mah take it out due to this.
Ok question in the states do honda not have true 4x4 like does only one wheel per end spin....cause i keep hearing things that say this and im not sure what to make of it in canada they come right from japan so all four wheels spin, is it the same in the states?
Get a decent tow strap first. Second, get on that stuck bike, floor it in reverse and rock it back and forth. Tow bike start with a small run, floor it and tug that stuck Honda outta there.
For fuck sake, I've use my 200 Big Red to get my cousins 500 Polaris unstuck. Just stop being pussies and fucking give er, rev the engine for Christ sake.
you couldnt pull him out cause you guys are friggin idiots
ROOKIES, WOW Ida had that piece of $%^@ HONDA with pointless mudlights on it cause it would just slow that quad down and strip it of half its power.... ROOKIES!!!
What is power if you can't go nowhere due to the snow? Friend had chains on all fours and was stuck. Other friend has a 500 HO Slowaris and left it in the garage due to he got buried right away. I suppose you have the worlds baddest atv. Most likely a Slowaris. if so hook em hitch to hitch. You would have a drive belt left.
@raptor700Rrider they are good bikes but i wouldnt trade a honda for one once that belt hits water your done my buddy took half an hour to pull me out a a water hole when i sunk my bike cause his belt was soaked
Both are 4x4's. The one that got stuck is a 500 4x4, it doesn't have a locker in the front. So just the same as a car. The tire with the most traction sits while the other spins.
yea i was having a prolblem in the snow to and i talked to the guy at the honda shop he said just turn them around backwards and i did and it worked lol.
Actually look at one of my other vids. You'll see a 2008 polaris 500 h/o sportsman getting outran by an old honda 200 three wheeler. This was at the same house. The guy that is in this vid stuck, was driving the 3 wheeler. The Ploaris in this vid is actually back in the garage because it had stock tires and would not go in this snow. He needed chains on all fours like the honda that was stuck. So basically it doesn't matter what you drive as long as you got posi and mudlites. If not, stay home.
There was no Grizzly. There was a Bruin. Wasn't about power. No traction and bottoming out was the problem. Friend has chains on all Four tires and he couldn't drive in the deep snow as well due to my locked front end with a lift and 28" tires.
just grab front break barley and it will pull both tires

Well more than enough. I'm sure it slows it down on straight line but never notice it in the woods pulling trailers
