I was shocked to hear George is in hospital in critical condition and I hope he'll get well soon. He has made a mess of things lately and it's so sad to see because he's such a talented singer. One of the best singers of this evening.

The best part has to be that this sort of awareness raising must have done something good. George states that they estimate 40 million people infected by the year 2000, but it's "only" 33 million today with the rate of deaths and new cases slowly, but steadily, declining. There's a long way to go, but something must be going right.
