  • One of my pedals broke on the inside.. Does anyone know where to send it for repair?

  • I'm trying to decide between the G2 and the G1XN. Why did you decide to go with this one as opposed to the G1XN?

  • what the music ? 3:00

  • @Joaosaurosfilho Black Sabbat - Paranoid

  • Is there a loop effect on the pedal??? And how many distortion is there ?

  • il posto dove si mette il piede si potrebbe bloccare in modo da avere un solo effetto?

  • This is a great bit of kit! I bought my son one for Xmas.Ive had a good play with it and the sound is superb, and a Drum machine built in to boot! I got a boxed perfect condition from Ebay for 50 quid.

  • are you using this pedal and a distortion pedal too? or just this pedal???

  • I love this pedal. I own it. Perfect if you don;t have the money to go out and buy a million other pedals.

  • muito

    loko

  • i am letting every one here know i own this pedal and would not reccomend it to any one

  • I have a 2 questions

1:do you need any other pedals like the others that you have or not?

2:would you recemend buying one of these or a G2.1U thanks :)

  • -2:00

are u controlling the volume from your guitar or isit an effect from the zoom g2?>

i think the effect is called volume swell. i've got a a zoom g2 but i dunno how to get the sound at 2:00

    thanks

  • @y1995g Sounds like vibrato or pitch shifter + chorus ? Well i got this pedal week ago so I'm not used to it yet.

@stoonky8 I got mine for 80 pounds , so i think you are lucky ... anyway , most of build in presets are lame but you can get really nice sounds if you experiment a bit (like me with manual in hand , lol :P )

  • @t25dubber

i can get one 4 $80... i think about $40 euros? is it worth it?

  • @stoonky8 yes it is, i bought one for $100 an i think its very worth it. You just have to invest time into it, learning how to use it cause its a little complicated. But theres a web site that shows you how to program your own sounds to get what your looking for. Its an awesome pedal.

  • I have a ZOOM G2 a little over a year old, and for some reason recently I have been getting no sound from my amp when everything is plugged up and turned on like usual. Can somebody help me please?

  • Hehe Ive got one =)

You can do just about anything with it.

But really, I'm kinda tired of it, just because I don't use effects that much... I mostly use it for different distortions, noise reduction and sometimes reverb.

But every now and then I play around with it and make some awesome fucked up sounds lol :)

  • @1234gnrslash oh and of course the tuner!! lol

  • What do you call this expression pedal are you using?

  • do you recomend it?

  • Awesome effects! This might just be what I need right now. Love the wide range of sounds and the option to create and save. Neat little unit!

    Thanks for posting.

  • BLACK SABBATH!

  • What is that yellow thing? do you need it to use the pedal?

  • @lolchai pitch harmonic dude :S

  • @lolchai Based around Em, F* and G (power chords) I believe.

  • @t25dubber does this one come with cubase LE like the g2.1???

  • how do you program it to how you want and then select it some pleasee help me out

  • i have a question....how i put the G2 in ByPass mode???? ....every patch is set to one effect....and i want to create a new patch with a clean guitar.....

  • @flacooscarbg turn all effects off..

  • @flacooscarbg

you press the tow food switch at the same time!

  • G2 is better. I got it around £50.

  • zoom g2 or g1xn? what is better?

  • @mdelclaro G2 is totally better than any G1 which sounds a lil bit low and sucks in accoustic, m gonna get G2 nextime nway check out my video...

  • wait

have you got a distortion pedal and a wah wah plugged into your zoom pedal aswell

    can u do that

can u take a lead and plugg it into more pedals untill you get to the amp

  • @surferboy14lp Of course. As long as you have enough patch cables you can have as many pedals as you want.

  • @chubbymosher700 nice :)

    thnx for the info

i don't know much about pedals

  • there normally 80 ponds

    i'm waiting for an offer

  • I used to have one G2.

After 4 weeks, the plastic buttons went wrong.

It has a good sound but very ban box construction.

  • nice pedal but can you come back at A0 or not ?

  • as tar configurator that your pedal?

    I also got him!

  • I bought one of these for 89 bucks on amazon, and it's a really great deal. I love this thing!!

  • @rambydave would you prefer this or the boss me 25?

  • @boutabeastar420 From what I saw about the Boss Me 25, it's more complicated than I need. Once I read the directions for the Zoom G2, I could get the sounds I wanted pretty quick. I mostly just think the Zoom G2 is the best bang for the buck. If you're into just jamming get the Zoom, if you are recording, get the Boss ME 25. Just my humble opinion.

  • @rambydave well i mean the operation difficulty of the product doesnt bother me much, knowing me, ill be sitting there for 5 hrs straight figuring out every little detail. Really what i wanted to know is which has better tone quality?

  • Zoom G2, in my opinion, has amazing tones. And the noise reduction is great

  • @rambydave what are the metallica tones like? and van halen? and are the clean tones good as well?

  • @boutabeastar420

Hey check out d4agreg's channel he is the master of these things.

This guy rocks and gets every well known guitarists tone nailed plus he gives you the settings in his vids. So much so that he has convinced me to get one of these Zoom G2.1Nu units. He is advertsing them though on behalf of the company.

  • @chymist66 i think i know who your talking about, but let me check him out.

  • how did you you get the sound like that on patches a5 and a6

  • how did you you get the sound like that on patches 5 and 6

  • i have this pedal for abt 2 yrs. it needs some clever tweakings to get gd sounds out of it. i guess it depends on the user itself. i'd say i once got almost satch's sound after some gd tweaking too. after that i went back to my gd old analog pedals for distortion n overdrive. this unit's od n dist juz doesnt snd gd. so i used thus unit for effects only and it does fine. only sickening thing i got is the chorus feedback effects on silence. this unit will retire as im planning to go for g7 or g9,

  • The first tone at the beginning of the video, that's kickass!!! What patch is it please?

  • its $150 dollers i just bought one today i cant wait till i get home to try it

  • i have one :)

  • hey i have a sp 10 amp, just want to ask if this zoom g2 will be compatible to my sp10( squier 22 w)

need help guys .. im open for your suggestions

  • Is the pedal can make some great pop-punk / punk-rock sounds ?

  • How much do one of these cost? Im really looking into buying one because just my amps effects aren't cutting it.

  • @BrandonDer1 No idea. Check GAK

  • @BrandonDer1

£99 for G2Nu without pedal, £130 for G2.1Nu with pedal

Last time I looked but you probably know thta now anyway

  • @BrandonDer1 I got one for Christmas this morning, the label said $160

  • Those violin-like patdhes are killer. Sounds like an ebow.i second ScottishWARRIOR. You're a very good player. You have good ear for tone, a soulful finger vibrato and a a confident picking hand and for my money that's where the magic really happens. Just listen to Townsend or Neil Young. The secret to memorable players is the picking and the vibrato. You can play a lot of notes or few but if those two skills are in synch then you've got magic.

  • How much did you get it?

  • @StringstotheLastBend I payed I think £45.00 on offer + discount.

  • I just ordered this online. One question though, do you need a good amp for it to sound good?

  • @GNRslash28 I dont think so. It depends how good the signal is from your guitar> pedal> amp> speakers. Obviously having a good quality amp helps tone but you dont really use your amp tone for this pedal. It provides all the sounds you could ever want. I would suggest having good speakers would help get good sound. Thanks

  • @GNRslash28 no, i have a crappy lilttle amp and it sounds amazing with it

  • Im going to buy the zoom g2.1nu tomorow and i like your playing, your very very good mate but what song are you playing at the start.

you play something with the distortion then play / pluck a different song and it sounds minted as f***

what is it as i want to find how toplay it

if its not to much trouble can you email me the song please or beter yet post a video of how to play it.

    cheers bud

    mybirdsadog@hotmail.co.uk

  • @scottishWARRIOR22 Hi. Thank you very much, means a lot. Yes the 1st part where the distortion comes in was just a improvisation based around Em. The song I then played is Ozzy Osbourne - Mama im comming home. I have been meaning to post some videos for a long time but Ive just started driving and finishing exams so might be able to do something. Either way I learned by ear but im sure there are tabs and tutorials on youtube.

    Thanks

  • fuck all of you

  • @KsE1029 Whats your problem? Its only a guitar pedal demo.

  • is the Zoom G2 just a selection of the zoom g7 1ut

  • @warchild1976 Sorry mte No idea

  • Do u wire it in the pre amp or just normal input?

  • @boneprone00 Normal Input. Guitar> Pedal> Input on amp

  • Not quite sure.. Just basically, the riff. I think it's not the correct note. I might be crazy or wrong though.

  • nice foot dude!!!

  • Hey men, what drive are u using in the A0 bank. I've tried to use the overdrive in this pedal but it sounds dirty

  • AWESOME SOUND

  • @Obsidi0n Thank you very much.

  • canon rock ¡¡¡¡ yeah ¡¡¡

    thanks man ¡¡¡

I am going to buy this pedal

  • thanks for the demo. though one thing, how well does the G2 work with other pedals? for example take a boss bcb-30 with 3 compact pedals and wanted to add this device to it, would they work well with eachother or does it have to work on its own?

  • @Nelahblue when using this pedal whatever program bank its on, it will use the sound in that bank. Only by turning it off can it bypass to use the other pedals. This is a multi-proccessor pedal that features all distortions + effects so it would be easiest to use the sounds built in. So pretty much its a loner.

  • Oh yh btw

I looked online and there is a zoom g2 1.u but it's £40 more, got any idea wat the differance Is apart from the foot pedal?

  • @MaccieG1 it works as an external USB soundcard too, you can record it direct to PC :)

  • Gr8 demo dude

I an considering gettin this but can u answer

A couple of questions bout the pedal

Is the distortion in the pedal any good or would u recomend me using this with a distortion pedal, because I can c u have a pedal on the left wich looks like a boss ds1

Also is it easy to use or complecated, so how easy did u find it to create ur own sounds on it and also general ease of use

Also does it have a good wah?

    Cheers dude

  • @MaccieG1 Thanks. The distortion is pretty good imo.... early Sabbath the Slayer np. The pedal is a BOSS OD-3, its a good overdrive pedal but I dont tend to use it because I use the natural tube overdrive of my amp. Use it for about an hour and you can get v. use to it, its very easy after a while but to start it can be complicated. The wah's on the pedal are good but the G2 1.U has the optional extra wah just to give you more control for the amount of wah etc. Hope this has helped.

  • @MaccieG1 go to google and type in zoom g2.1u reviews. it helped me alot and enough for me to go out and buy one

  • Paranoid from Black Sabbath. Hah, I knew you were going to play that song just when you putted the drums up. Btw, I think you're doing the change wrong.

  • @Zephyr2810 it is a very old vid but what do you mean by the 'change' wrong? I improvised the solo as close as possible. Dont play it anymore but would like to hear what you have to say. Thanks

  • emm, for what is the pedal to the left?

  • Hi I have a question that effexts what you use are only from zoom g2 ore the zoom g2+other efects?ad if they are from zoom g2 only please write me down the first efect how is built and that when you use it with the drum machine thanx

  • hello mate, wondering if u can help, having a hard time trying to work out how to create a patch with no effects, like bypass but not via the tuner as it's too clusmy to put both feet on the switches at the same time. I wanna create a patch with no effects but i dont know how to create that patch exactly! HELP!! lol (sorry, i am a rookie here hehe)

  • can we use it without amp? or with the computer connection? i'm wondering about if i buy a processor when i don't have an amp, what do i lose? i'm a rookie, sorry.

  • @burock03

no.. you put an effect before an amp. effect pedals like the zoom are also preamps, but you still need an amplifier and the box of course.

  • can you use more than 1 effect at once?thanx

  • If you mean having a chorus on with delay and loop etc then yes.

  • @II6bulletII nine at the same time

  • nice video, i have a question about how this works. So you can plug this and the guitar into your computer and make your own settings, then save them on the pedal, and then plug the guitar and pedal into an amp and use those settings. Can you switch between these settings by stomping on the pedal and how many settings can you have saved at once? Thanks!

  • You can program sounds and effects without a computer. Its a moddeling effects pedal. You program the sounds on the pedal allocating a letter then number eg A1. Then you stomp on the pedal to move to A2, A3 etc. up to 9 i think (dont have it anymore) sounds on each letter up to.... Z??? +80 different saved at once. You then have the option using your settings to be plugged to a PC and recorded.

  • ok cool thanks, one more quick question, is there a distortion setting, like can u program a distorted setting in so u can stomp from clean to distortion?

  • Theres probably over 30+ different distortion settings you can make and yes if for eg. you had A1 as distortion and you stomp up to A2 which is a clean/ stomp down to A1 again for distortion. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching

  • cool man thanks

  • btw srry, just wanna know as much as i can about this thing, u stomp one of the two silver buttons at the bottom to switch between settings? and does it cycle through them or can you choose a specific one?

  • np as far as I remember you stomp either the left or right silver buttons ie. Left = Down, Right = Up, and cycle through the settings/programs like that... Im not sure but i think you can cycle through the group effects ie A, B, C .... by one of the knobs or holding down one of the silver buttons. Not 100% sure though.... Its a very complicated pedal. Thats why i use stomp boxes allocated to one thing lol XD I would suggest looking at reviews or possibly trying it out if you can. Hope this helps

  • Actually Its the effects bank buttons that change the groups i believe. +/-

  • Ss this better than the line 6 pocket pod for home practice and recording direct to laptop?

I like playing Metallica and Satriani stuff...

    Thanx

  • @lavender200012 Im not really aware of Line6 stuff, but is it correct that its just a input for the guitar to USB and then you make sounds via the software on the Laptop?... IMO i think the pedal would be more authentic kind of sound but by judging the pocket pod it can make really good sounds too. I would think about whats better in the long run, with the pedal you can use it on any amp + recording needs, the pod you cannot. Thanks for watching

  • jejeje muy bueno paranoid...jeje

  • HEY!! I got the same LOL, though I am just learning hwo to use it and programm it damn, it's hard to find the sound I need really T_T

  • tnx for this vid. You made me change my mind of selling the pedal replacing it with ME-70. I've decided to just buy RC-2 for the looper gear. No other multi effects sounds as warm as zoom.

  • what amp are u using?

  • what type of guitar do you have ?

  • Les Paul with Seymour Duncan pickups

  • my friend gave me one,but it was broken and i was thinking of buying a new one what do u think? i dont know if it is good or not xd

  • It really depends if you have the time before playing gigs etc to make the correct settings and save them. Personally I did not like this setup however this was all the pedals you can imagine in one, brill pedal but i would rather stompboxes that do one thing only eg MXR etc

  • do u know whear i can get a manulal for this petal

  • Not sure a manuel is supplied with every pedal. You could try the ZOOM website and resources for an online printable manuel.

  • Please give me settings to A0 and A2)

  • I cant tell you the exact settings as i no longer have it... but A0 has a distortion (high), chorus and a lot of reverb/delay. Same with A2 just with more delay.

  • Will post a new video of my updated gear soon! And please visit my band page on myspace: Acan Trace.

  • cool :)

  • what's the song in 0:33 ?!?!?

  • Ozzy Osbourne - Mama Im Coming Home

  • lovely cabinet for a bedroom tbh

  • you sound like you live in cardiff... am i right? :D

  • Nope

  • Wales?

  • Yeah S.Wales

  • Thaught so, Where to?

  • Can you write why is g2 better than g1??

  • this things is really good..but need to explore all the feature 1st then u can make ur own patches..dont ever think to copy anyone else patch, just make ur own using ur ear

  • I absolutely love this pedal and the versatility you can get out of it, from the death metal distortion to the incredible chorus (i personally enjoy the Hendrix patch ;D). its also pretty affordable (scored mine for about 125 bucks) but my one and only hang up about it is the gain can lead to a strange little "not quite a hiss but still a hiss" type a buzz at the end of what you play, but other than that, it's a definite buy

  • do you know wear can i get some cool patches for live playing? y have just bought the same multieeffects

  • Patches??? Have no idea lol never used them. I only ever make my own sounds and settings. Not the sort of thing i know

  • this guy is a cool guy. i can tell. the way he talks =) nice demo gj dude.

  • would you recommend this over the G1?

  • yes i believe this is a great pedal, better effects and can better exspress the sounds and feelings you might be after than the G1.

  • can you tell me the combination effects you used for that purpose A3 A5 and A6

  • Sorry, do not have pedal now sold it a long time ago. Can only remember so much about it.

  • Jesus be careful with the volume next to that beast of an amp!!!

  • which one? lol XD The Marshall or the Orange....

  • I will be selling some of my other stuff including a Custom Jackson, the only one in the world with the awesome paintjob. I will hopefully be posting a video for those interested as I will likely be putting it on ebay.

  • And my Marshall Head. Ask if interested. Please no time wasters.

  • nice guitar and amp dude!

  • thanks

  • I absolutely love my G2, been playing with it for about 9 months, and I love it.

  • Sounds great I just bought one this morning I didn't realise you can play patches over the drum machine

  • thanks man for the awesom reply...still confused.i am a starter so thought ill go for an used rp80 that my frnd's sellin for 75dollars.even i felt the rp80 sounds too much digitally actually but guess for a starter thats enuf?!! as i can experiment with the wah pedal as well at a cheap price.its not about the money though but still thought for a starter this will do.anyway i like the tone of g2 so still confused!!..........

  • u cant go wrong with that. Friends of mine would say im an excellent guitar player after playing for several years, though i dont like to comment on myself XD Though through starting i went through bout 3 years to find my sound thankfully lol after 7 different guitars, 4 amps and 3 pedals lol but yeah until you experiment you wont know.

  • dude how this to the digitech rp80?.any idea?.

  • well I havent much of an idea cause if never heard of it, however judging by reviews and videos of the pedal i would say in my view the zoom G2 is better. This is because the rp80 sounds way to electronicky/digitally ( if they are real words :p ) for my liking. If your looking for a pedal with wah though like the rp80 i would go for the zoom G2.1 which has the wah on the side. Look around though, i find reviews help a lot when im deciding to buy something like this. thanks

  • this video changed my mind:P so i bought it^^ tnx

  • nice demo man, and you play very good, just a question, how did you conect it?, directly to de input or thru the effect loop in.

  • standard, just into the input. im not one to understand all this effects looping on pedals and amps. whatever is easiest for me to make noise lol XD

  • can you connect it via usb cable to your pc?

  • I think so... not 100% sure. Do not have it anymore and did not need to connect to a pc. However i believe there is a input on the back very similar if not the same type of connection found on most keyboards to plug and play on a pc, Via USB

  • I have a zoom g2g and i dont have a usb port

  • The G2 doesn't have any input for your computer, you will need G2.1u version.

  • Thanks was not aware. When i did use it i only used it for a 2 hour session until i stopped using it for good lol

  • mama i'm coming home

  • hey man ..

how much do you buy that ??

    i have that wa

  • About £50. it was from GM Music shop. They had a sale at the time. rrp £60-75

    Thanks for watching

Thanks for watching

  • thank you!!!

  • good.!!!

    configuration cannon rock?????

  • Sorry cant remember for sure, i believe i used the delay, phaser, clean distortion, reverb was on full, and the chorus. just the matter of experimenting these effects and you should be able to get it.

  • how did you get that cannon rock type tone
