Gives me an overwhelming sense of peace inside, as if, yes, God is aware of all the pain and injustice in the world, but through holy men of faith like this, there may yet be an answer.
oh i want to meet the priests but my mom will kill me if they knew i went to a european country can you please visit philippines and have a concert there i will defienitly watch it oh cant wait to see you the priests here in the philippines i hope you read this thanks!
These poor acts made by a FEW priests just show that they are human just like you and I. We are not judging you (whatever your denomination) and you do not have the right to talk down on these people, you are no better than thay are.
i may not be better but i can say that i have no power over men, also jesus is my mediator with god not some man who CLAIMS he has been given power by god
Okay then in the bible why does Jesus say "peter you are my rock and on this rock i will build my church." Peter was the first Roman Catholic Pope, The son of God passed on a huge responsibility to him to carry out the liturgy and to preach the word of God to all of the world In whatever way he saw fit. The pope today still serves God not as a "middle man" but as a leader, all groups of humans need a leader, it is nature.
Hearing and viewing "the Priests" make me proud and honored to be a Catholic. The liturgy, the hymns, the piety and the truth can lift everyones' spirit, no matter what you believe, especially during joyful and sorrowful times in our lives.
Not all us Protestants hate Catholics! The centuries of animosities w mostly caused by politics, leaders taking advantage of faith being an easy way 2 separate "us" from "them". All churches have made mistakes, Catholics and us Protestants as well. More we knew of the faiths of each other, less misunderstandings there'd be. I for one don't share all Catholic views but still I don't condemn the whole church. And I absolutely LOVE 2listen 2 these 3 priests, all my Prot. friends love them 2.
Evil deeds have been done in each and every religion and even there where people have been claimed to be atheists so no-one can boast being so good, so please shut up and just ENJOY THE MUSIC! People should be encouraged to good things and beauty, so let concerts like these be in peace and go complain somewhere else, more appropriate place.
First one was Ching a Ring Chaw, (old American minstrel song?) which really cracked me! and they later sang Funiculi Funicula, a famous Italian song. Loved to see and feel that joy of life that really bubbled through there ;-)
unfortunately i only managed to catch the last part of their performance on BBC top of the pops last night. i don't suppose anyone could let me know which hymn they sung? many thanks
"Abide With me," just a fragment of it comes after "Ave Maria," then after that, "Panis Angelicus," by Cesar Franck, then "Be Still My Soul," taken from Sibelius' Finlandia. Everything is excerpted / cut to the bone. There are some other postings on You Tube where you can hear the entire piece. Do a search, and you'll find them.
They sound great but why do they have to be dressed in child rape costumes?
