Terrible. This is an impossibly difficult Verdi aria, even in the best of circumstances. She has no volume, no breath control, no trill, no vocal reserve. She is incapable of sustaining a pianissimo and has to strain for the higher or longer notes, pushing her whole body. The tone sounds thin and colorless. Under these conditions, any effort to sustain the tempo or to attempt any elegance of phrasing is impossible. Better retrain your voice, baby!

The greatest problem is the Opera Manager like Gelb at the Met, he only wants singers that look good on film and damn the voice and his attitude is growing fast in the opera world
Terrible! Fiorenza Cedolins has arrived to an early end of her career with an exhausted voice. Next year she will sing some truculent verismo's role at l'Arena di Verona??
sto pensando mettere il mio Trovatore, vecchio, cantato in un teatro al'aperto.con una povera cassette. questa signora. non pronuncia , pianissimi spariti cambio di colore quando cambia registro... Che passa con questa cantante che cala ?
Ha cantato fra 2 o 3 anni una buona Norma, meno la Casta Diva, non ha bel canto ni coloratura.
La cadenza non c'e . eppure canta, con 4 amici che applaudono.Sicuramente pagati bene.

Assolutamente terribile. Di stile e cultura questa cantante certamente non sa niente. E la pronuncia... mi fa pensare al borbottamento della Sutherland, non si capisce neanche una parola. E per quanto riguarda gli applausi: fuori la claque!
Povero Verdi!!!!! Grande Armiliato che prova ancora a fare dei colori con l'orchestra e segue in modo eccellente questo scempio dell'aria verdiana! Ma il pubblico a Barcelona è sordo o cosa? Si accorgono questi spagnoli che la Signora è calante di mezzo tono sugli acuti?????!!!! Così la canta chiunque!
Io non sono una fan scatenata della Signora Cedolins, ma questo gioco al massacro non mi piace per niente. Provate a cantare voi quest'aria!!!!!!!!!! Sicuramente la signora non è in serata ok, ma non per questo ciò che fa è da buttare.
