if you were a first bike go with a four stroke the two strokes need engine rebuilds often. also, four strokes are more smooth with the power and easy to leanr on.
they're just as reliable as long as you dont keep it in the high rpms all the time. plus when you rebuild a 2 stroke it costs almost twice as less. i do however agree with the smoother power thing. but i kinda love how powerful the powerbands are on 2 strokes

i'm thinking of getting a yz85 i was just wondering if they are good and reliable i havent ever owned a newer bike
