you basically get paid to travel around the world and watch fashion shows and pick out the clothes that you want in a clothing store (department store, chain store, or small boutique). But you do have a lot of pressure on you because your in charge of picking out what clothes to sell, so you have to keep up with trends like a season or 2 in advance and the clothes you pick can really affect the sales of the store.

@smashboxLIVE that sounds like a job i would love. do you have to have work experience i mean are there any qualifications? how do you get to be a fashion buyer.

well you should probably take marketing, and maybe fashion design, i've heard that you can still get a job as a buyer even if you have no experience, but its probably better and more rewarding to go to school and get a degree. It would probably make a considerable difference
