  • @FPSyorkshire

Yes, but I think they changed it to the current right left chicane because that one didn't slow the cars enough

  • Hello, you have a full qualifying??

  • A lil bit of delay.... yeah just.... 10 secs?

  • @MikiCasanovas yeap, I apologise cause back then I didn't have advanced video editing programs (like Sony Vegas) in my PC. I wish youtube had a function to fix the sound delay, but it doesn't. Cheers

  • my god, this is free practise,

qualifying must be scary as hell

  • The greatest ever.

  • Goddamn that car is so beautiful.

  • The sound is wwwaaaayyyyyy off.

  • That first chicane was quite sexy, I have to say.

The new one has made overtaking easier, but there is no flow to it!

  • @yomnachin agreed.

  • Talk of bady synched

  • is the beginning of the video flipped or has the first corner changed over the years?

  • @FPSyorkshire if u mean the turn on 0:04, it's parabolica and the only changes made since then in that corner was the enlargement the run-off area (the exit of the old banking has been covered by gravel and a crash barrier)

  • @Ferariiman no i think he means corner one, in this video it is left then right, currently it is right then left...

  • @FPSyorkshire The current layout of the 1st corner, which is a right-left chicane now, was used after yr 2000 or something. During the 80s, the 1st corner was a left-right-left-right double chicane. During the 90s the 2nd part of the chicane was straightened out a little.

  • @FPSyorkshire no u right they changed it, the first sector was flipped ithink they change it every year :) now its right/left.

  • @FPSyorkshire The first Chicnane has changed.

  • @ctfxcplane yeah i thought it had

  • @FPSyorkshire yes, the first chicane has been changed over the years. As you say it has been flipped in a sense. I think it is probably tighter now as well.

  • Is the audio early?

  • I mean the 1st ever race that I watched

  • That was the first ever race and now I'm a proud Tifosi

    Forza Scuderia Ferrari

  • thats why he is 7 times champion..

  • The front nose of that car looks like a shark. Should have painted teeth on it like one of them old war planes.

  • 2:45 drift

  • Wow, what a brilliant piece of coverage in this video. Reminds me of all these great years... no bullshit costs saving, no V8's, just pure V10's and V12's (loved them both). Thank you so much for this vid.

  • absolutely on the limit that´s what i am talking about

  • Wider cars (more mechanical grip), actually being able to see the drivers wrestle the cars (not being completely surrounded by foam), less regulation, ferrari winning at monza and Hill World Champ......1996 was a good year.

  • a real lake of aerodynamic grip. He's still on slicks. means pre-98

  • These cars look faster than today's cars

  • @NOXXism I'm not so sure, the 2000 pole position (when the track layout changed for the last time) was 1:23.770 (Ferrari - MSC) and this year's pole time was 1:22.275 by Sebastian Vettel.

  • @Ferariiman they look faster because they are more opened, they dont have so mucha aerodynamics and electronics as the cars this days have. those guys back then made great races withoutt drs, kers or whatever the hell they put into the car this days. i think it was more spectacular back then. i was 7 when i watched my first f1 race :)

  • @Ferariiman I think they had much more top speed before; the power is much more limited now. In the turbo era, they had even up to 1.2k hp, in the last years they are more in the 700-900hp range. However, the new cars are usually faster anyway, because of the more advanced technology (better brakes, better handling, better grip, ecc. ecc.)

  • @777lucifero Yeah, they're definetely more advanced now but the old cars had great sound, nice looks and the drivers were more competitve. I miss these days..

  • @Ferariiman not only that but the drivers drove the cars, now it's intel and amd

  • @Ferariiman 1:20.089 was it in 2004 by Barichello in the Ferrari F2004. The F2004 was the fastest f1 car ever. And that without slicks. How fast a F2004 could go with slicks?

  • @honda900000 I believe it could easily reach 390 km/h in Monza and on the old Hockenheim straights plus all pole position times would have been 2 or 3 seconds faster than the ones achieved with the grooved tyres

  • @Ferariiman the record speed with the f1 cars from 2004 was around 290 i think

  • @Ferariiman /watch?v=gV-zNsPyiYE good times are gone :(

  • @honda900000 the 2011 cars are as fast as the 2004 cars only diffenrence are the tyres so i will say another 1-2 years and we will have again the fastest f1 cars

  • @honda900000 Ferrari F2004 V10 3000cc 950hp. Yes, she is the fastes F1 in the History.

  • @NOXXism they were faster in a straight line with less aero and mechanical grip.

  • @NOXXism just because kers and drs ;) and better motors and aerodynamic

  • Wow

F1 cars are so different now

  • Senna, enough said.

  • Is this the father or uncle of Michael Schumacher who drives for Mercedes GP ?

  • @Lexinho90 Hehe, good one :)

  • i fucking love this driver !!

This qualifying format is wat better than actual ................

    FIA sucks

  • he wasnt off the throttle for one split of an inch just steered it away;)

  • God I would sell everything I own to relive the glory days in F1, from 1982 to 2001. The time when new teams kept joining and racing horribly, weird designs, lots of retirements (most drivers during the 80's only finished about 5 out of the 17 races) crashing into each other and keeping it on the track (French GP 1979) proper talented drivers (not bratty scum like Vettel) and no stupid electronic toys: radio, KERS, DRS or any of that shit.

  • "That's why he is 2 times world champion" : LOL,not now x)

  • LOVE these commentators!!

  • The cars were so much better then. They are boring to watch now. Fuck the FIA.

  • LOVELY !! but a big lost of time....

  • i love when he says :"thats why schumacher is a 2 time world champion"...if they would have known.... :D

  • DAMN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • those senna fan boys are just pathetic

  • congrats to traction control and cheating for gaining 7 wc titles :P

  • THIS IS DRIVING CONTROL

  • There are no questions that schumi is probably the best driver of all time, you cant won 7!!! titles if your bad and there is no coincidence that Ferrari won when he joined the tmae. They had´t won for 20 years before so dont just tell me that he had the best car....He BUILDED the whole team and he made the cars go fast even those days when it wasnt the best car. This year he has struggled an maby he is to old now.

  • @Mackan62 nice english skills

  • Many other drivers would have spun there.

  • God damn this man is talented!

  • @moorsy88 yeah true. even if he made some very questionable moves in his career, its wrong to say he just won because of cheating and having a good car.

u can't deny he is one hell of a driver.

  • @moorsy88 Best car, No Rivals. mmm i call this luck cuz if he was in other times like 1970s we can find Niki Lauda, Carlos Reutmann, Gilles Villeneuve and is the best F1 racer, Ayrton Senna, Nelson Piquet. Schumacher isn't Talented. THIS GUYS ARE IT. if he is talented can you say me if, Schumacher did the best battle in F1? Had he a broken rear Wheel (broken front wheel is easy to drive)? and the most important thing, Have Schumacher challanged the limits?

  • @RedhotIta1 spa98 broken front wheel in rain conditions it isn't easy as you say and he finished the lap

Have Schumacher challanged the limits? yes obviously,no one atleast for now gained 7 wc

  • @lulzwtfo0 And??? He win Not challanged the Limits, Gilles Villeneuve was every time at limit. Schumacher just go fast. But Gilles's Ca(Ferrari(r reach one of Max Speed on 1982 340km/h vs Patrik Tambay (Ferrari)-Monza 365km/h +/-

Gillles was every time in Understeer, Under rain or on Dry. but... Who did best battle in F1 world??? Gilles not Michael :) Dijon 1979. And isn't a Fair driver Schumacher

  • @RedhotIta1 Man, if he was just fast as you say then how he gained 7wc?As you know there are no bad drivers in F1.And what about max speed?Speed means nothing if lap time is bad.Every generation has there own best driver that did best battle. So be cool man. :)

  • @lulzwtfo0 may you're right. Schumacher did some great Battles wins 7 Titles in Benetton, Ferrari. Gilles Villeneuve Won Only 6 races, maybe te Fatal 1982 was near to win, in the 5th Grandprix. But if the battle 1979 Dijon Gilles Vs Renè will be again done in F1... Pilots will be Arrested LOL.

What About 1997? When Michael tried to damage Villeneuve's car? what about (idk the GrandPrix) Found a Launch Start for beat Senna? What of Illegal Fuel, What of he stopped at Monaco for gain Pole position

  • @RedhotIta1 about smashing other drivers... Senna vs Prost GP Japan 91 don't forget about it.Senna said that good guys do not win races and you can't disagree that he was nice guy on track

  • @moorsy88 I am not the greatest fan of Michael Schumacher but he was simply the best. He won frequently from drivers who had cars that where about a second a lap faster. Plus most of the time his stratagie was way better.
