what a bike mate, your an inspiring builder. I am here in Horsham central victoria, Australia and ride a cb 550 which I have built up cafe racer style, I always get pulled up for a chat by people who just love these old Hondas. I am in the process of building a chopper/digger for something different and three more other honda fours a 350,500 and 550. whould like to talk shop some time. Good job on this one.
I actually lived in NSW for 2 years and then moved to Victoria for 2 years before coming to the states.
I was a posty at Chatswood, on one of those Red 110 bikes and delivered in Roseville. I lived in St Leonards for a time then, up to Warnervale, north of Woy Woy. Loved it in Oz.
Great workmanship and ideas. Keep the chicks off the bikes so we can see the machines. I see girls everyday, but the bikes are much cooler. Now! Show these babies in action.
Looking good man! I'm going to pick up a 75 CB750 in a week for free. Getting rid of my 175 cafe. The 750 got burned to the ground. I'm hoping I can bring it back to life.
I thin the whole thing is wicked. the only thing i didn't like was the color (but thats me) and the weird finder sticking out of the rear body work. It's a work of art that is completely professional. And i liked the music, the guy grunting in the second song was funny... Where are you located? I saw a palm tree so probably not anywhere near Sioux city. I believe i already subscribed ;)
Went back and accually listened to the music, not bad at all,My brother plays lead, its a passion,so I appoligize for my comment, obviously you have a passion for bikes and it shows, take care
Incredible detail. You are far above and beyond 95% of builders out there. The Checkered flags inside the speedo and tach are a fantastic touch. Build on Carpy.
I understand guys, but remember, when a customer wants me to build what he designs, I have to stick to what he wants, the bike is really cool, I prefer a totally different seat and no fender.
But thanks for the responce, i try hard to please all.
Let me just add to my criticism! thay your bikes are awsome :) too bad you went to usa we need guys like that over here but big inspiration anyway for sure!!!!
How long does it usualy take from idea to realization ? how are you able to crome engine and other vital parts doesnt metal deform under the high temperatures?
... the first one is howlin for my baby, the band should be Russ Be Bop & the roadrunners, album movers & shakers ... the second is Please dont leave me, originally (I guess) played by Johnny Burnette & his RnR trio ...
Hello carpy..i'm just bought my 1980 XS 650...still in restoration stage ..later on i will make my xs to become cafe racer like this..nice bike there..
