You can pick out one show that has bad voice acting in English and I'm sure I can pick out one show that has bad voice acting in Japanese. Your argument is basically, it is in Japanese ergo the voice acting must be good. However, you can't prove that because you don't speak Japanese. You just think it sounds cooler. In the end, Sub v. Dub is all about personal taste.

Uh, technically, Afro Samurai was never dubbed. The original copy is in English; Sam Jackson and a few others were approached for the role by the mangaka--"Bob". Basically, there never WERE Japanese voices; if you've found one with Japanese voices, the voices have been dubbed over the English ones. o_O
However, your point about DBZ is valid; the dub was actually not bad. (I still say Trigun was another fairly well done dub, and don't get me started on FMA.)
