He's definitely one of a kind, but if i should compare him to somebody, I would say Waterboys. Folk style, touch of despair in the voice, chords, when i close my eyes it really sounds like the Waterboys. Espacially on this song.

I don't feel the fury of Janis Joplin.

People should not fiocus on the sound of his voice but consider the whole opf his music, flow of his voice...

I discovered him in Arad. I was impressioned by his performance. Assaf Avidan is a very cute performer. He is about to conquere the world. We have Janis Joplin and Robert Plant together with some other spices. He also joined the Who when he fragmented his guitar at the end of the show. Next time I'm ready to buy your guitar man.
