  • head phone users RIP

  • Most overrated fighter of all time

  • @ICE999KOLD retard.

  • @HipHopPhilosopher People said he was the number one lightweight at one point (Some still try and argue this). How many times does he need to be knocked out and cry before you Aoki nuthuggers realise he could not succeed in the UFC with the top 10 UFC LW's are mostly great wrestlers

  • @ICE999KOLD he's obviously not the #1 lw right now, during his tear 08-10 he definately had a case, plus when penn lost to edgar the first time, aoki was rightfully #1 before facing melendez.

how many times has aoki been ko'd in pro mma? 3 times. TWICE at welterweight.

when has aoki ever had trouble with great wrestlers? kawajiri, alvarez, hirota, jz, kikuchi, uno, black etc. all have great defensive wrestling.

lol @ the idiotic misconceptions that uninformed fans (like yourself) carry.

  • @HipHopPhilosopher Uninformed? Seems like you are a japohile nuthugger by calling Aoki #1 after Edgar destroyed the #1 LW at that time and still the GOAT LW twice. How the hell was Aoki #1 and the fact he lost to Gilbert showed he did not deserve that number one spot at all. Apart from Alvarez all the other guys you listed are not on the same level of wrestlers such as Melendez, Maynard, Edgar, Melvin Guillard, Jim Miller, Clay Guida.

  • @HipHopPhilosopher All would sprawl and brawl against Aoki. They would knock him out as Aoki's stand up is horrendous. You seem to forget he got KTFO by a crossdressing kickboxer that btw is not even a top 20 kickboxer at his weightclass. Also overtook Tim Sylvia vs Ray Mercer as the most embarrassing ko in mma of all time

  • @ICE999KOLD right, like alvarez tried to sprawl and brawl, right? or kawajiri tried to sprawl and brawl? man, youre an idiot. aoki's more than capable of dragging any fighter to he mat, he's done it with elite mma wrestlers time and time again.

the EXHIBITION mach with jienotsu is irrelevant, and youre a fucking dunce for even bringing that up. also, considering jienotsu made the final 16, he IS top 20 in k-1 MAX, tard.

  • @HipHopPhilosopher Seems like you are a retard, please watch the Alvarez fight again. He did not Sprawl and Brawl he followed Aoki to the ground and got tapped out. Melendez showed the gameplan to beat Aoki which is to not follow Aoki to the ground and beat him up on the feet. Kawajiri is overated as well I thought Gomi already showed that, as did Eddie Alvarez, as did Melendez. How many elite wreslters that have made it into the top 10 mma ranks, has Aoki beat?I believe the answer is 0

  • @ICE999KOLD haha, wow. he didn't "follow" aoki to the mat, aoki took his back so he was forced to take aoki to the mat with a harai goshi. kawajiri is overrated? haha, he's widely considered a top 5 wrestler at lw, and was ranked #6 overall when aoki beat him. lol @ calling him overrated, he had a very back and forth fight with alvarez before taking a huge punch, as well as his fight with a PRIME gomi.

  • @ICE999KOLD list of great defensive wrestlers that aoki had beaten, that were ranked in the top 10:

kikuchi twice, JZ, alvarez, kawajiri, caol uno, hirota.

  • @HipHopPhilosopher Just because it does not count to Aoki's pro mma record does not mean the fight with Nagashima is irrelevant. I suppose you want to ignore all the Pancrase fights in the 90's because they had different rules to which we are not used to. I guess we should ignore Peter Graham's win against Aleks because the match had a 20 second stand up rule once the fight hit the ground. Aoki knew what he was getting himself into before the fight and got knocked out in his own realm

  • @ICE999KOLD haha, it was an EXHIBITION match, aoki took it on 2 weeks notice. he was promised a match with melendez, then a match with omigawa, but both turned down the fights. then 2 weeks prior to the event they asked him to take a ridiculous exhibition match with nagashima, which he had no interest in taking, but he fought anyway. it was a fluke knockout, in an EXHIBITION match. a rematch under strictly mma rules would go alot different, you'd be stupid to suggest otherwise.

  • @HipHopPhilosopher Yea and Jon Jones fought a rusty Shogun, Forrest fought an injured Shogun, a motivated BJ would beat GSP, Herb Dean helped Dan Henderson win, an in shape Rampage is the #1 LHW, Prime Cro Cop would be #1 HW, Old Vitor would beat (insert fighter), Chuck has that look in his eyes,. There will always be excuses

  • @ICE999KOLD no one's making excuses, you dunce, theyre facts. the FACT is, it wasnt an official pro mma bout and has no bearing on how a real mma bout would play out.

  • @HipHopPhilosopher The fact yoy stated the following "aoki took it on 2 weeks notice. he was promised a match with melendez, then a match with omigawa, but both turned down the fights. then 2 weeks prior to the event they asked him to take a ridiculous exhibition match with nagashima, which he had no interest in taking, but he fought anyway", sounds like excuses to me. Why else would you state such pointless facts. Fighters take short notice fight regularly and no one is forcing them to take it

  • @HipHopPhilosopher Chris Leben fought within 2 weeks and beat 2 top 10 MW and people praise him for that but if you lose like he did against Brian Stann then people don't look at your injuries, illness, or whether you fought on 2 weeks notice. You know the risk and reward before accepting the fight. The Aoki vs Nagashima fight shows how terribly overrated Aoki is and his standup is still a glaring hole in his game. Aoki is not well rounded and if he is considered a top 5 LW then that just shows

  • @ICE999KOLD here's the difference, that fight with leben was a PRO FIGHT.

wow, i'm not sure what the fight with nagashima says about aoki's standup, he never TRIED to strike with nagashima, you idiot. if you want a guage on aoki's standup watch his fight with shaolin, where he is actually attempting to stand and strike.

youre just another example of how dense the majority of the mma community is.

  • @HipHopPhilosopher You are another example of a Japan nuthugger. Like I said before Aoki is he most overrated fighter of all time and would not hang with any of the current top 10 LW's in the UFC

  • @ICE999KOLD haha, japan nuthugger? youre a fucking joke, and your lack of knowledge is hilarious.

aoki's resume outshines EVERYONE of ufc's lightweights - FACT

  • @HipHopPhilosopher "aoki's resume outshines EVERYONE of ufc's lightweights - FACT" this statement right here shows you enjoy gobbling Aoki's nuts. You don't know shit and all you use is nuthuggery to back up your points. I'll take Bj Penn's, Gray Maynard's, Clay Guida's, Melvin Guillard's, Gomi's and Edgar's (also many others) records over Aoki's whos best win is Eddie Alvarez who was still in the prospect stage of his career

  • @ICE999KOLD haha, wow. way to display your lack of knowledge AGAIN. aoki has more top 10 wins than any other lightweight in the ufc besides penn and gomi, who both have the same amount of top 10 wins. lol @ alvarez being at a "prospect" stage when he was coming off the 2 biggest wins in his entire career.

kikuchi x2, hansen x2, JZ, uno, hirota, kawajiri, alvarez.. all top 10 when aoki beat them. not to mention notable wins over shaolin, black, aurelio, hironaka.

    youre a joke.

  • @HipHopPhilosopher It seems you know jack all about Alvarez which is to be expected from someone who think he used sprawl and brawl against Aoki. Maybe you should actually watch the fights and form your own opinion instead of readin about them or checking records. Alvarez was pretty sloppy back then and was just a brawler. Now he is well rounded and has tighter boxing and uses his wrestling very well to set up subs. Today's Alvarez would kick Dream Alvarez's ass

  • @ICE999KOLD haha, wow. alvarez wasnt ABLE to sprawl and brawl aoki, he threw a kick, aoki took his back. and alvarez was forced to harai goshi, or get his back taken. alvarez has obviously improved, but he wasnt considered a PROSPECT when he was coming off of two of his biggest wins. he was very well rounded back then too, as he displayed in his fights with dida and hansen. alvarez always used his wrestling in his early fights at ww, lol, you really don't know what youre talking about.

  • @HipHopPhilosopher PLease rewatch the fight we live in the age of the internet and all it takes is a simple search of Eddie Alvarez vs Aoki. You can see Eddie throws the kick and Aoki takes his back then Eddie hip tosses Aoki and ends up in mount. Then Aoki gets the heel hook and Eddie taps. I'm sure all the Japan nuthuggers thought of Eddie as a legit top 10 at that point but lets be real since Pride's downfall Japan is where you go if you want to pad your record. Ask Overeem and Gegard.

  • @ICE999KOLD haha, wow. DREAM had more top lightweights circa 08 compared to the ufc. remember ufc went without a LW division for a long time, most of the top LWs were still in japan at the time. it's got nothing to do with "nuthugging". also, eddie "hiptossed" aoki, because aoki took his back. it was a do or die situation, either get his back taken or harai goshi "hip toss" aoki to the mat.

  • @HipHopPhilosopher So until he made his wayto the states to fight better comp then he was still an unproven prospect. Of course Eddie used his wreslting in his earlier fights because Wrestling is his fucking base. But he was just your usual wrestler with sloppy brawler striking. He has really been able to use BJJ and Wreslting together. i'm sure he found out how effective BJJ was and worked on it continously which resulted in 5 straight submission wins after the Aoki loss.

  • @ICE999KOLD better comp in the states? lmao.

his best wins come over hansen, kawajiri and kikuno. ALL in DREAM.

you know nothing, eddie was training BJJ long before he fought with aoki.

  • @HipHopPhilosopher hansen got KTFO by a bum in Takaya, he never should have got the nod over Gomi. He had good wins over Uno and Imanari but after that he was just a guy that should never have been ranked but these Japannuthuggers continue putting him in the rankings. Kawajiri never deserved his top 10 place over the UFC LW's either as he was fighting bums like Melchor Manibusan and Gomi showed Kawijiri can beat all the bums he wants but once he steps up competition he fails hard

  • @ICE999KOLD wah, wah, bum this, bum that. sherk was getting worked by franca, and got by lnp'ing him, sanchez went to a close decision with a shooto reject - clay guida. kenny florian's only top 10 win is at FW, over nunes, after moving down 3 weightclasses, lololol. see what i did there?

hansen's fight with gomi was close, but hansen obviously won, especially if shooto judges are agreeing.

kawajiri beat shaolin, JZ, edwards, thomson.. his resume trumps guys like sherk, florian or sanchez.

  • @HipHopPhilosopher wah wah asian fighters are the greatest despite having atrocious UFC records minus DHK and Yushin. Yoshihiro Akiyama (1-2-0) Ryo Chonan (1-3-0) Takanori Gomi (1-2-0) Akihiro Gono (1-2-0) Kuniyoshi Hironaka (1-3-0) Naoyuki Kotani (0-2-0) Dokonjonosuke Mishima (0-2-0) Kazuhiro Nakamura (0-2-0) Keita Nakamura (0-3-0) Koji Oishi (0-1-0) Michihiro Omigawa (0-2-0)- dont count the Etkins fight Yuki Sasaki (0-1-0) Caol Uno (0-2-1) Yoshiyuki Yoshida (2-3-0)
  • @ICE999KOLD haha, once again showing how little you know.

gomi was 2-2 before coming to the ufc, obv past his prime, kid was 1-2, omigawa was robbed in his last fight, gono was robbed vs hardy. k-taro robbed vs emerson.

the majority of those fighters were never any good to begin with.

also, what about mike brown former #1 fw, getting raped by imanari and sudo? what about silva, getting embarrassed by chonan and takase. cole miller, rani yahya, tibau etc etc. all got schooled in japan.

  • @HipHopPhilosopher showing that you don't know jackshit and are a pure nuthugger of j-mma. Comparing Silva that tapped to Chonan and Takase to the Silva of now is retarded have you seen Chonan next to current Silva?. Also Silva fought in Shooto and Pride before UFC. Oh noes Imanri tapped the untappable 12-4 at the time Mike Brown. Oh wait Hermes Franca, Joe Lauzon and of course Genki had already done that. Fighters improve and Mike peaked when he beat Urijah but it seems like is not the same

  • @ICE999KOLD nuthugger, nuthugger, nuthugger. keep spouting trash you fucking idiot.

funny how you talk about fighters hitting their peak then you go and bring up gomi, kid, yoshida, uno and kotani, you hypocritical faggot.

  • @HipHopPhilosopher Hansen, Kawijiri, Kikuno, Aoki, Shoilin. Hansen, Kawijiri, Kikuno, Aoki, Shoilin. Hansen, Kawijiri, Kikuno, Aoki, Shoilin. Hansen, Kawijiri, Kikuno, Aoki, Shoilin. Hansen, Kawijiri, Kikuno, Aoki, Shoilin. (These guys are the loves of you life). You can stick to watching Cro Cop leg kick by HMC and ill watch Mir knee ko CC on a stacked card not filled with overhyped japanesse cans

  • @ICE999KOLD haha, you can't forumlate a competent argument so you resort to ridiculous shit. i've provided facts, all you can say is "overrated, overrated, overrated". your mma knowledge is sub-par at best, watch some fights and get back at me.

  • @HipHopPhilosopher What mma knowledge is that? You seem to enjoy backing your JMMA fighters and provide biased opinions of how they are ranked higher (even though they are in the minor legaues) than fighters in the Major fight promotion. Also your kickboxing knowledge is non-existent and just because your opinion differs does not mean you know more about the sport

  • @ICE999KOLD no, please, learn how some continuity within your debates. they were ranked high for a reason, if you've followed the LW division, you'd know what i'm talking about. aoki's opponents (for the most part) were more proven, and more accomplished. all you can say is "overrated".

kickboxing isnt relevant to anything, but i'm willing to bet i know more than you.

  • @HipHopPhilosopher I'd take Bj Penn's career of having a battle in the first fight with GSP, beating the number 2 WW GOAT in Hughes twice, going the distance with Machida and beating 10 top 10 opponents in total (11 if you count Duane as I believe he was ranked top 10 on sites) over Aoki's 9 top 10 opponents.

  • @ICE999KOLD i'm not sure why WW accomplishments would factor in a debate about a fighter being the LW GOAT. if BJ dropped to FW, won the title, then retired, would he be the FW GOAT based on his LW accomplishments?

  • @HipHopPhilosopher Oh OK so you have the International Standards for deciding MMA GOAT status in front of you. If you had an mma top 10 GOAT list BJ penn would turn up on most lists on that top 10. How many times would Aoki turn up? should be zero unless you are a nuthugger. If Bj is considered in the MMA GOAT then how is he not considered #1 in the weight class he spent most of his career

  • @ICE999KOLD huh, when did i claim that? it's retarded to credit accomplishments from one weightclass to another regarding GOAT, just take the example i stated. BJ will be listed as an all time great because of his top wins in multiple weightclasses, but his overall accomplishments in each class individually is what matters when assessing the weightclasses INDIVIDUALLY.

  • @HipHopPhilosopher Come one admit it you were the one that made the "G.O.A.T at LW?" thread on teamtakover. I know you don't want to admit that you love the japnuts. Anyways the fact that you are putting invisible rules likes that in GOAT discussions. For me Anderson knocking out Forrest Griffin boosts Anderson overall GOAT status at MW and his GOAT status in mma

  • @ICE999KOLD i never said it wasnt my thread, since when do i hug jap nuts, you faggot? you obviously hug american nuts, by your horrible logic.

your hypocrisy is hilarious, you're the one making random rules for GOAT status. you completely dismissed gomi and aoki as candidates, when that really isnt the case, considering Penn's level of competition upon return to LW.

  • @HipHopPhilosopher OH SHIT IM OUT FUKEN TEAM TAKEOVER FAG. I listen to Bloodstain from time to time but I aint brainwashed enough to join up on his forums and follow that same chain of thought. Teamtakeover is the most obvious Jap nuthuggers in the planet. Come on son, here I was thinking you weren't biased but instead you were a fucken Jmma nuthugger I knew it. I was calling it from the start

  • @ICE999KOLD haha, you obviously havent visited the forums. nice cop out though, brah. many of the posters don't even follow JMMA (much like you).

UG is full of zuffa apologists, I KNEW YOU WERE BIASED!!!111!!!1111010101

    idiot.

  • @HipHopPhilosopher I knew you just ate up everything Bloodstain said and just regurgitate them out. It will always be Pride>WEC>UFC>SF>Dream>Bellator

  • @ICE999KOLD i havent regurgitated anything, these are my own opinions, i've expressed them on forums for a long time. were not talking about promotions, were talking about individual fighters, and their accomplishments.

looks like were done here anyway, i hope this has been an enlightening experience for you.

  • @HipHopPhilosopher Since Pride and Wec are dead UFC is now number one. Dream is the minor leagues just admit it. Aoki's overall mma resume does not compare with Bj's. Matt Hughes would straight Farmaconda choke Aoki

  • @ICE999KOLD are you retarded, when did i say UFC wasnt number one NOW? i stated DREAM's LW division was superior, circa 08, because they had 95% of the top LW's that were already in japan. while ufc had just re-instated their LW division.

aoki's LW resume is superior to Penn's, it's not even debatable.

  • @HipHopPhilosopher But if you compare their overall careers Penn's resume is far superior to Aoki's and it isn't even debatable. Also Dream in 2008 LW was just Ex-Pride LW's like Aoki and Hansen that would have been destroyed even if they came over to the UFC at that now. Right now though they could never last with the UFC LW division. Gilbert Melendez showed the gameplan to beat Aoki and any intelligent LW fighter in the UFC would follow that gameplan

  • @HipHopPhilosopher Shinya Aoki himself has said before that he considers BJ Penn the best LW in the world.

  • @ICE999KOLD

humility has little to do with statistics, brah.

  • @HipHopPhilosopher Nice one line arguments to back up your incredibly non biased points. Alright I'll admit I like Jmma fighters and was just trashing em to make Aoki look bad. I like Miyata, Tokoro, Imanari, Hioki, Omigawa (Met him in person) all are cool dudes. But Aoki is not on Penn's level. LOL at you TEAMTAKEOVERFAG

  • @HipHopPhilosopher Is this serious business for you brah? You gonna be a pro mma journalist brah?. Shiiiiiiiet Aoki is the GOAT LW lmao. Think you have alot of pent up anger from seeing your favourite jap fighters ktfo and getting cut from the UFC. When we going to see Gegard vs Izumi 2 in Dream dawg?

  • @ICE999KOLD brah, it's not serious business for me. i've made you look like a fool, i really feel sorry for you. you can't present any facts, so you come back with weak shit like this.

aoki, gomi and BJ all have claims at the LW GOAT. i enjoy all mma, btw ;) not just jmma, i'm just wise to faggots that know nothing about it (ie: you.)

  • @HipHopPhilosopher And yet you had a 6 hour conversation with me about mma. Guess this retard knows a little more than you would like to admit. Also Bj Penn is clear GOAT and Gomi in 2nd place for his Pride run

  • @ICE999KOLD haha, i've been schooling you this entire time. it's kinda sad, really.

GOAT is debatable, penn is less accomplished at lw than both gomi and aoki. but he's arguably more talented.

gomi had the best streak in pride at lw.

aoki has the best overall resume at lw

  • @HipHopPhilosopher Also, I don't see how you made me seem like a fool. Please show me these great facts you speak of??

  • @HipHopPhilosopher Trust me if you polled most knowledgeable mma fans they would say Bj Penn is GOAT and is top 5 American GOAT. You have not been schooling me in anyway I think your ego is too big. Also Aoki having the best lw resume is laughable as Akira Kikuchi, Joachim Hansen, Akira Kikuchi, Gesias Calvancante, Caol Uno, Eddie Alvarez, Joachim Hansen, Mizuto Hirota, Tatsuya Kawajiri don't hold a candle to alot of Bj's top wins. What happened to Uno during his first UFC run?

  • @ICE999KOLD hrmm, well i started a poll on one hardcore mma site (in which i wont name) and the results were pretty even across the board. i really have been schooling you, you claimed sanchez > kawajiri, and other ridiculous shit, no one with any knowledge of mma would claim some outlandish garbage like that.

BJ has gomi, then he has a bunch of good - solid wins.

while aoki's resume contains ALOT more accomplished fighters.

  • @HipHopPhilosopher tEAMTAKOVER?

  • @HipHopPhilosopher Just face the fact that Dream is where Overeem and Gegard go to pad their records and keep busy while they wait for a decent fight in SF. Gomi controlling the fight and doing more damage= obvios win for Hansen??? OK THEN what ever you say. So Kawajiri beats shoalin 10-0 at the time with a win over a bantamweight and overrated Hansen. Sounds like a better victory than Joe Lauzon, Sam Stout, Roger Huerta, Clay Guida, Takanori Gomi, Joe Stevenson. The fact that fighters like

  • @HipHopPhilosopher The fact that shaolin, JZ, edwards, thomson are ranked above Kenny's wins just shows how fucked mma rankings are. Any non j-mma nuthugger can tell Dream is the minor leagues and SF and UFC is the main show

  • @ICE999KOLD lmao, kenny, sherk and stevenson were all boosted up the rankings for wins over bum opponents. it's funny you should mention the rankings, because most are zuffa influenced. ANYONE that knows how to analyze a fight/fighter can tell you who fought the better competition.

youre just another clueless tuf noob.

lol @ using the term nuthugger, get back to sherdog, retard.

  • @HipHopPhilosopher For sure SF fighters need more attention but Dream fighters and most fighting in Japan do not belong any where near the top 10 of any weight class. That is equivalent to fighting in Titan FC, shit don't matter. Also I havn't gone on sherdog for years. UG's where its at bitch. Also Sherk beat Nick Diaz. Beating Nick Diaz is equivalent to beating every Japanesse LW x10. U mad?

  • @ICE999KOLD lol, you have the mentality of a noob. you think great fighters can't exist outside of the UFC, it's hilarious. UFC never had an active LW division for a long time, until 06, before then, and for a long time after ALOT of the top LW's were in japan, and aoki beat most of them. end of discussion.

also, nick diaz was beaten by hironaka, u mad?

  • @HipHopPhilosopher Kikuno is another overhyped japannuthugger product. Of course most mma fighters train in the 3 main disciplines of mma which is Bjj, Wreslting and Kickboxing/Boxing/ Muay Thai. After Eddie lost to Aoki via a sub in the 1st min. He obviously put an emphasis on Bjj which resulted him getting his first ever submission and 5 straight submissions

  • @ICE999KOLD wow, kikuno's overrated, yet you rate clay guida, lmao.

and there is no "3 main disciplines", there's more than "wrestling and bjj", try catch, luta livre, judo etc. lol @ the noob generalization. he's obviously improved his bjj, but it doesnt guarantee a victory over aoki in the rematch. aoki has obviously improved too. alvarez wasnt a slouch when he fought aoki, he was very well rounded, and was considered a top 3 lw. get off that "prospect" bullshit.

  • @HipHopPhilosopher If you actually analyse the top 10 wins you can see that both Gomi and Penn are far superior. 7/9 of the top 10 opponents Bj fought better quality at the time. Din Thomas is better win than Kikuchi,Matt Serra is better than Kikuchi,Takanori Gomi is better than Gesias Calvancante,Matt Hughes is better than Uno,Sean Sherk is better than Joachim Hansen,Kenny Florian is better than Hirota,Diego Sanchez is better thanTatsuya Kawajiri

  • @ICE999KOLD it's debatable (i completely disagree, and it would take me forever to list prior rankings), but..

coming into their respective fights with BJ... florian, sherk, sanchez ALL never had a top 10 win at lw.

kawajiri had multiple top 10 wins, so did hansen (infact he beat gomi when gomi was considered top 3 p4p), and hirota had 2 top 10 wins over ishida and kitaoka.

also, aoki's had more TOP 5 wins at lw than penn.

  • @HipHopPhilosopher that mma has not progressed as far as I had hoped. If GSP tapped Marcelo Garcia in a BJJ match then that would have a bearing on his mma career. It would mean GSP has elite level BJJ. Aoki got KTFO in a mixed rules match with the 1st round favouring the kickboxer and the 2nd round favouring the mma fighter. The kickboxer beat the mma fighter in the mma fighters realm which shows that Aoki has terrible standup and his wrestling aint that flash either.

  • @ICE999KOLD wrong wrong, many accomplished grapplers AND strikers have come over to mma and beaten at their own game. it's a completely different sport.

hioki outgrappled a world class grappler in baret yoshida in mma, but in a grappling comp it would be completely different.

  • @HipHopPhilosopher To rule out the possibility that Nagashima would knockout Aoki in an mma fight, since he already has done it with rules that allowed takedowns, grappling, punches, kicks and knees would be foolish

  • @ICE999KOLD 9/10 aoki would beat nag in an mma bout, only an idiot would suggest otherwise.

lol @ aoki's wrestling not being good though, he's taken down just about every fighter he's fought.

  • @HipHopPhilosopher Guess you include buttscooting as TD's. Only an idiot nuthugger would suggest Aoki would beat the top 10 LW's in the UFC. He is best from the clinch which is where he gets most of the TD's. He can't shoot a double leg for shit which is why Nagashima khtfo. If he tried that shit again I guarantee you he would be sleeping and crying after, just like he did against way past his prime Hayato Sakurai. He pads his record by fighting bums in between his losses and nuthuggers

  • @ICE999KOLD you don't need to shoot a double leg to take someone down, you idiot. he forced kawajiri to the mat with a single leg. aoki's beaten MUCH better fighters than the majority of ufc's top 10 lightweights, only an uninformed idiot would suggest otherwise.

  • @HipHopPhilosopher like you come out of your basment and say "He is the numbah 1 LW". Yea right, Edgar, Maynard and alot of the current top 10 LW have had much tougher careers

  • @ICE999KOLD haha, my basement? youre the one coming off like an uneducated child, if youre going to discuss mma, atleast KNOW what youre talking about.

  • @HipHopPhilosopher Qualifying for the Final 16 does not mean you are a Top 20 kickboxer. Bob Sapp made it to the Final 8 but that don't make him a top 20 kickboxer. Nagashima has no quality wins on his record. His best win is against Dida which should have gone an extra round anyway. His path to the Final 16 was the easiest as the Japan Tourney is generally the weakest tourney and has the weakest fighters. Nagashima is so bad that he wasn't even the favourite to win the whole thing

  • @HipHopPhilosopher Nagashima cannot be ranked above Giorgio Petrosyan, Andy Souwer, Buakaw, Artur Kyshenko, John Wayne Parr, Sudsakorn Sor. Klinmee, Chris Ngimbi, Yoshihiro Sato, Albert Kraus, Mike Zambidis, Pajonsuk Super Pro Samui, Armen Petrosyan, Abraham Roqueni, Murat Direkci, Mohammed Khamal, Gago Drago, Dzhabar Askerov, Faldir Chahbari, Nieky Holzken. What I wanted to point out is that not only did Aoki get knocked out by a crossdresser but also a kickboxer that is not elite

  • @CloudAsian

aoki lost because rocked the guy and for a split second thought he was a gooxd striker.

I love this guy (at least as a fighter) but he should stick with his jujistu.

  • Aoki need to learn standing fight and not stay on the ground all the time, and of course his chin is weak

  • when aoki loses, he fucking loses.

  • @beargrylls3 hes a gay... he just needs to get stole in the face

  • lol aoki got no chin

  • @AcademicusMaximus He definitely does, look at his fight against Melendez.

  • @Lrdvltr u mean the fight where he was crab walking on the ground? how is that supposed to help your case? He's been knocked a few time now...Bad chin.

  • @AcademicusMaximus If he had "no chin" Melendez would have knocked him out. He took a beating and kept fighting. The Aoki that fought Melendez would decimate this clown today.

  • @Lrdvltr no melednez wouldnt have knocked him, cuz he fell on his ass and started crab shuffling around. im really not tryin to disrespect the guy, hes a sick jui jitsu artist, but he has a weak chin. and he knows it, thats why he fell on his ass against melendez and shuffled around. Its not all his chins fault tho, he's a terrible striker and he doesnt know how to accept strikes well. Also he got knocked in that exhibition bout against a k1 fighter on new years AFTER the melendez fights..so ..

  • @AcademicusMaximus The fight against Melendez still went to a decision.

  • @Lrdvltr and he still got knocked by a guy who's not even in mma. so i dont really konw waht your point it. but if its that melendez didnt KO him, ill say the same thing again. If aoki was a man and stood with melendez he'd have got knocked for sure. THats why he was doing the crab shuffle

  • ohhh TAKEDEWN!!!

  • old misstake...you see the other guy get caught..u get offensive..lower your guard ;)

  • @MrSvensson No

  • @OoLs13oO Apparently it was like that???? As we see in the video ;)

  • ちょっと当たるだけで…大したことない

  • The reason he lost was because this was his fourth fight and his opponent was a vetren who submitted miletich.

  • Nakao was too strong, so Aoki couldn't accomplish anything on the ground. With all those standups, Aoki's ponderous striking was going to get him caught.

  • i would do anything to wrestle the guy in yellow

  • I sympathize with Aoki. I'd feel crappy too if I were K.O.'ed by a guy wearing a Banana Hammock in an M.M.A. fight.

  • They are popular in Japan. Most famous red banana hammock of Minowa, hehe.

  • @RangeofMotion especially after landing one on him.

  • lool ... swim suit?--

  • 相変わらず受太郎はキレーーーなスポーツ刈りだな

  • whteva u said, bro, i agree wit u :D

  • Sheena got KTFO!

  • NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOooooooooooooooooo

  • What are you talking about? Since losing to Sakurai (Mind you, he would have won had they called a catch on the brabo choke), the combined record of his opponents are 87-25-4. He submitted Joachim Hansen (good striking and good guard) with a gogoplata. And he wears spandex. He isn't 'done', he's awesome!!

  • you calling joachim a bitch? he beat JZ calvancanti, so your saying JZ is a bitch?

  • Joachim is and always will be Shinya's bitch....as will JZ come Saturday!

  • ^^lol

  • u 4got shinya gogoplataed joachim n there 1st fight... so whos da bitch ,bitch

  • lol, fail.

  • Shinya Aoki vs. Joachim Hansen

    ooooooooo haha

  • @SombreNote

the yakuza put him up to fuc tards in pride. shinya fights nobodys. i wanna see him fight gomi or bj penn but shinya doesnt leave japan cause hes gay.

  • Aoki needs his rainbow pants for his true power to be unleashed!

  • yeah! But that yelllow speedo could do the trick as well ;)

  • what organization was that?

  • It was DEEP

  • @jparlin

    BALLS DEEP

  • This loss definitely was a fluke, I think elekat was right Aoki got over zealous

  • dudes did you know ufc bought out pride fc?

  • nakao should have gotten 3 yellow cards... for wasting time? i'm glad pride had implemented that rule.

  • this was just clark kent, aoki wasn't changed into his superman suit.

  • Shinya needs to improve his standup game. And someone tell the naked to put on some pants. Oh, those are speedos...

  • booooooo.... i can imagine your scumbag snickering

  • You misunderstand. I'm a huge Shinya fan because of his sick guard. I just think that a good standup game would be useful, too.

  • looks like aoki rushed after connecting with the right..

  • looks like the same punch he gave to tony desouza

  • Doom Hammered. :(

  • Nakao has been wearing the same speedos for years now...

TUF NOOBS need to realize this

  • yellow speedos are not cool.

  • Nice one! Was definitely looking for this fight after seeing what a lion Aoki became
