Hello markfran60, Sorry to hear that. Ebay is anti-free-speech, anti-consumer rights, anti-American, & they will do whatever they need to, to keep the facts buried.

You'll find 1000s of folks whom had the very same thing happen.

They have a clear & continuing pattern & history of such behavior, all aimed at making money via deception AKA FRAUD.

I made my first post today -within minutes it was removed and I was sanctioned for 7 days - Wow these guys are running sacred.

All I said was how things have changed and why I don't use eBay anymore.

Use ebay at your own risk, Had a fake INR dispute through EBAY, sent in my messages, FROM EBAY... Item wasn't even registered as "PAID" on my paypal for over a week! Too many other 'glitches and bugs" to list. Danger Will Robinson! This is real folks!

IMHO Put bluntly, ebay/paypal is gonna try to get all sellers on 21 day hold, and when they are ripe, screw everyone!

Thyanks for watching & commenting.Yes, and for those they cannot get with the 21 day holds, they now also have the "Rolling Reserves" which appears to be a bigger farce. Some larger sellers are reporting they want to holdf very very large amount$ for relatively low dollar sales, even though their chargeback rate is very small. eg; holding 20K when the seller's average sale price is 100.00, chargebacks are 3-4 per year, of which only 1 is genuine.

Pure fraud, IMO

The incident above just goes to show whenever you deal with ebay, be sure to get screencaps since you know they love to make things vanish.

Some good screencapture softwares are "Fireshot" and "Abduction", both FREE, found at mozilla add ons. Fireshot works in IE & FF

I want to remind viewers here of a statement quoted from ebay spksprsn during the huge "Padded Listings" scandal time period on the appscout site on 03-04-2008:

..."EBay denied that any forum deletions were intentional. If any posts were taken down "it was accidental," the spokesman said. "We're not afraid of hearing from our community and allowing them to post and discuss things and be angry on our boards."...

So did ebay have another "accident"? A "test" a glitch"?

Or just plain dishonest?

Ebay DENIED me Access to my account for 30 days after I posted reasons NOT to use PayPal, and I said we SHOULD be able to have links to our websites to prove we're legitimate businesses. During Reinstatement, they would only enable me to go to Ebay Canada. I kept my Kool and utilized my Great sense of Humor to crack up the Ebay tech who then restored Access to my my Ebay USA account. All the while "You Must have a Virus of some kind" was told to me over and over.

You must be lucky to have found a way to talk to a real human at ebay, let alone actually get anything done. BTW, overheard some one not long ago IRL talking about ebay page-loading slowness. They were saying the site must have a virus or something. lol

Lastly, have you seen the headlines? Ebay profits expected to be down for the 3rd Q in a row. Hope Mr Donahoe understands it is NOT the macro-economy
