If you are into diving the north coast for abalone and fish you need to check out these 2 web site's the first one is my dive forum called nor cal underwater hunters.com which is a free open forum for divers to chat we have evry level of diver from beginer to advaced trophy hunters and the other one is abalone ten divers all about trophy abalone.
Looks like the West Coast Of Tasmania...when the Industry first started...3 ton days were common ....at about 30 cents a Kg for the diver......they get about ...$50 a Kg...now...and about 3 mill buys you in..
It was actually taken in Northern California (south of Salt Point) last season. I believe all in the video are legal since my smallest at this spot is usually close to 8 inches. I use a Canon PowerShot S80 camera with the Canon WP-DC1 housing (an excellent underwater photo setup on a budget).
Those babies looked like some of em were legal. No big ones though. Gotta get the big ones. Let those little suckers grow for a few more seasons, they wont go far.
ummm the limit is 10 per person, but yeh 3 would be a good limit, i herd sharks like the taste of poachers anyways lol, RESPECT HER AND SHE WILL RESPECT YOU, plain and simple, or umm just dont be fucking greedy lol either ither
Limit in New Zealand (where this vid was taken) is ten per-person. And in parts of New Zealand we have millions of paua. Especially around the West Coast of the South Islands, the Chathams and Stewart Island. Prolific numbers of paua in these places.

They are New Zealand abalone. Dive the right places and 10-12 inch Paua are a dime a dozen. However you have to know where those right places are.

@emnoptcrusier Who are you to be setting the limits in a country you've probably never visited.

DO NOT tell these idiots where this is! I don't know myself, but would rather have it kept a secret than tell everyone.

Very cool, you could pull your limit 3 times over in one dive on that spot. Thought I saw a couple of nines in there.
