  • :') LandRover -3

  • LAND ROVER DUDE !

  • what kind of noob turns up with road tyres on to a TOW lol

    GREEN OVAL forever!!

  • land rovers are just better now get rid of your shitty little jeep and if you want a luxury OFF-ROADER then get a range rover, more luxurious than a jeep and much better, nuff said

  • Land Rover are the BEST <3 !!!

  • it says something when a pajero outperforms your little jeep :) Defender's are amongst the best 4WDs in the world, and could run rings around that Jeep. i've seen defenders go places i never thought possible. Defender FTW

  • The guy in the jeep didnt even want to get his feet wet!

Can you imagine them cleaning out their cars afterwards.

The Jeep driver will take hours, cleaning carpets, and polishing door handles.

The Defender driver will just open all the doors and hose it out! Should take him about 3 minutes!

  • Quite Clearly

    Defender 1

    Cherokee Nil

  • I'D BET THE JEEP WOULD OUTPERFORM THE ROVER IF IT TOO HAD LOCKING DIFFS. IT'S EQUIPED TO SEVERELY OUTRUN THE ROVER ON THE HIGHWAY AND HAS A SUPERIOR OFF ROAD SUSPENSION BUT WITH OPEN DIFFS AND CRAPPY DRIVER, ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE, EVEN FILMS LIKE THIS

  • @brent440 The jeep didnt out perform the Rover, and stock, it never will! Rendering your comment pointless. The defender was designed for the army and farm use, not for riding down the highway in style and comfort. the defender was built with purpose in mind. And it serves that purpose beautifully, it performes where it is needed without fail. It doesn't need an excuse, because it never fails (Btw the defender only has centre diff lock...). We cant say the same for your beloved Jeep now can we?

  • landys oh bliss but the jeep did have road rubbers not a t i suppose

  • the jeep is in on highway tires animal

  • hey pussy thats a cherokee try to beat a wrangler faggot

  • @marclmercier ive beat wranglers in races as well as off roading with my cherokee limited....dont talk shit unless you actually know something

  • MITSUBISHI

  • Isn't that a Santata (spanish knock off) as opposed to a Land Rover

  • LOL, this is like a Jeep Rubicon taking on a Range Rover Sport. Pointless.

  • This video should be retitled to "Street tires vs. Mud tires in the mud"

  • compare tyres... -.-

  • Grand cherokees arent for mud. they are luxury and are ment to get you through crappy streets. leave this for the XJ's and the Wranglers.

  • @xboxisbetta that is one of the dumbest statements made buddy.I got a jeep grand cherokees, and nothing has got it stuck yet.its a 2005 limited with 5.7 hemi.Dont get me wrong,a xj and wrangler will go though more and climb rocks, but blizzards, mud, etc the cherokee is no problem. In our illinois blizzard this yr,i drove through snow that had f250s,dump trucks, chevys, etc all stuck, and i was going around them with no problem...

  • @WaCkO744 i agree that it is good for snow and such. but for complete off road prowess. the xjs and wranglers are at the top of the list.

  • @xboxisbetta Well, at least the newer (05-12) GC's with independent front axles...SOLID AXLES FTW!

  • noticed your tow belt was twisted....not a good idea.Wow JimmyJames you got me laughing, how sooo right you are..

  • Landy should of lock'd his diff

  • WHY IN THE NAME OF JEEP DID HE HIT THE BRAKES?

  • Who brakes when you're being pulled out of a mud hole? Idiot. Learn how to drive that thing. He must have learned how to drive from his wife, if he has one. Never brake in a mud hole like this idiot. Once you lose forward momentum. You're done. Tires do help a lot as well. Don't go mudding in street tires. And learn how to use the pedal on the right. It's called the gas pedal. It makes your Jeep go vroom and move forward. Got it? Good. Now some one find that guy and slap him for me. Thanks :-)

  • @JimmyJames6784 it was probably some 18 year old kid who just got his license

  • @JimmyJames6784 laugh

  • @JimmyJames6784 4.0 litre jeep wrangler in yellow anyday!!! would kill anythings.

  • @finches1515 what ever and it had to be pulled out of a SHALLOW mud bath by a 40 year old golden machine hahahahaha you idiot (only talk of what you know of not what you dream of when your wetting your bead) !!!!

  • @h789yym wrangler mate...... wrangler..... i speak by opinion i own a landrover 90 1988, had it just restored and its a beautiful car..... took them both off roading.........!!!!!!!!! i know what im talking about!

oh, and jellousy is a harsh quality to have...

  • @JimmyJames6784 dont stop in a mud hole? forward momentum? trying to sound smart? looks like the rover stopped, tied a jeep to it then backed right out of the same mud hole just fine. Looks more like jeeps aren't what they used to be and suck that simple. you need to be slapped.

  • Y el del Jeep se pòne encima a frenar!!!! Pero quein le da el carnet a esta gente???!!!

  • It is all about the tires. You can find both land rovers and jeeps on youtube with crappy street tires that don't work in mud.

  • you need to have tiers that have some tread on them. slicks don't make good mudders. your fired!! hand over the keys!!!!

  • buena land rover¡¡¡

  • @gmanw3 your roubicom don't just poul defender it alsow poul them up heel just from fan roubicom are a beast

  • haha every vw poli is better than a jeep you have no change in offroad with a jeep better take a land rover thats best

  • My Rubicom would pull both of those things around like nothing.

  • @gmanw3 same here. this vid isgay

  • SISI E POI QUELLOSU JEEP C TIENE D PIULA MAKKINA MOLTO PIU COSTOSA D QUEL VEKKIO LAND ROVER

  • haha pajero/montero for the win :D

  • jeep s r crap no matter wat u do to thm haha

  • haha jeeps r crap no matter wat u do with them

  • Exactly, the Grand has street tires. But still Jeep is better

  • @DieselFreak94 the landrover is the best 4x4 ever since it made way back in 1945 it has set the standard for 4x4 its just that hardly anything has changed since then, lts used by half of the worlds armys doing 4x4 stuff everyday how many jeeps do you see doing overland expeditions or paris to dakar or any army using them none its just a fact that americans cant build cars all the gear but no idea just like vyour armed forces the jeep will never be better than the landrover

  • @maverick00754 What the fuck are you saying about our Army and Cars? Just go fuck yourself. If we are such a bad army, how come we raped your asses in the Revolution? And we didn't see Land Rovers building cars during WWII. I can even admit, the Old Land Rovers were good, but anything made today from them is shit. The Grand Cherokee is way better. The only reason you see LRs in Africa and Austrailia is cuz Britain invaded them and colonized. And you ppl have the nerve to say we invade.

  • @DieselFreak94 you know shit even your own army have bought a batch of v8 landrover wolfs, the grand cherokee is a mothers school run car not a true off roader you know shit, anyone that knows any thing about off roaders will say the same i could go on but i will let you think that the cherokee is the best off roader cause you know fuck all.

  • @maverick00754 ho hum who cares

  • @maverick00754 Dude, the Grand Cherokee is not a full blown 4X4 anymore. It became a luxury vehicle. Can the Rover Defender beat it off road? Yes! I honestly don't care what the hell your opinion on cars is. I honestly don't give a flying fuck wether you like Jeep or Rover, I happen to LOVE the Defender! But just cuz you dont agree with the decisions of the US government, dont talk shit bout the our hard workin troops.

  • @DieselFreak94 Dude I hate that! I know, is Jeep turning soft on us? They've never been a luxury car maker until now, it sucks. the new Cherokee's are just luxury vehicles. I am glad my brother got the last actual offroad Grand Cherokee, before the new ones came out.

  • @DieselFreak94 the landrover is the best 4x4 ever since it was made way back in 1945 it has set the standard for 4x4 its just that hardly anything has changed since then, lts used by half of the worlds armys doing 4x4 stuff everyday how many jeeps do you see doing overland expeditions or paris to dakar or any army using them none its just a fact that americans cant build cars all the gear but no idea just like your armed forces the jeep will never be better than the landrover

  • Once again someone is saved by a defender. =P

  • That is more a tire test. In mud conditions the correct tries are very important.

  • That's not a real solihul Land Rover defender, that´s a LR Santana made in spain....

  • If the jeep had mud tires it would have no problem getting out.

  • cherokees not real jeeps i got a 95 3.5 lift 31 inch tires 4.0l dayna 33s i live in nova scotia canada and the teraine here is awfull and ive never had any problems keeping up with anyone in a comperable built yj or tj check out ns jeep club for an example ........[=]llllllll[=]

  • Cherokee is not a real Jeep

  • @sidhuzbunker1 don't be a dolt. Of course it's a real Jeep. It's just not as performance minded as other Jeep models. Were it not a Jeep, it wouldn't be called Jeep.

  • @sonbuhitsunei nah its not. wrangler is real.

  • what a good old truck (y)

  • land rover is the best

  • if you notice the jeep isnt trying to beat the land rover its trying to get the fuck out of the mud. The wheels are going forward not backwards. Also the Jeep is not trail rated, and its tires are mad for asphalt, not offroadin. And the jeep has a V6, not a V8 like the land rover

  • smart driver in mitsubishi just went around the mud

  • @RovingLandRover Jeep cherokee....look it up...it will kill everything in that list. 2 times over. learn it

  • @dvdr1111 yeah mate but watch the video, who is rescuing who there, it looks to me as though the jeep is properly stuck???

  • @dvdr1111 what a dick. its obvious from your other comments that you pretty much dont like anything un american. your pretty much blind with the stars and stripes over your eyes. you know what the worst selling book in america is? an atlas.

  • @dvdr1111 lol no Cherokee of my 2002 discovery's same era (99-2004) can even come close to going where a stock Discovery can go. I like jeeps too, but a cherokee stock is nowhere near as capable as a stock discovery bottom line. But really both are good, so this whole war on which sucks is ignorant, and neither jeep nor land rover suck. each has its advantages and disadvantages. Stock out the dealership the LR has an advantage with the except for the rubicon, which is the best stock offroader

  • i mean i can show a video of a jeep pulling out a land rover and say the jeep is better but it wouldent be true everyone gets stuck and everyone gets pulled back out i still would never own a land rover they are junk the most unreliable vehicle you could own but yes the old ones are good off road but good luck finding one still running

  • @StrainingDingelberry i dont know where you get your info from???? put it this way 75 % of all landrovers that were made since 1948 are still on the road today. you do the maths

  • @TheL322 i get my info from me i was raised around cars my father owned a car lot i worked at his shop for years i went to automotive school for 2 yrs i am a automotive tech and also own his shop now. i know what cars are crap and what cars are good i have delt with them my entire life i stay away from land rovers they are money pits

  • @StrainingDingelberry Mine is an 02 with over 100,000 miles on it and I haven't had any problems with it. I have been stick one time when I hit a deep tractor rut so deep that when we put a railroad tie under my tires they still didn't touch. got pulled out by a Chevy 2wd. doesn't make the Chevy better. Real off roaders do get stuck no matter what you are in. no 4x4 is invincible, especially at the hands of an amateur off road driver.

  • that cherokee is not built for offroading. it's comparable to the freelander. and dont forget people, the first landrover was built on a jeep chassis, inspired by the WW2 jeep. plus jeep is the longest surviving 4WD brand.

  • @aeropostalbaby1 i thought the willys jeep was only a 2 wheel drive when it first apeared??

  • @TheL322 it was. jeep later introduced 4wd into their civilian models. i didnt say they were making jeeps 4wd from the start. i said they were the first to do it

  • get that grocery getter out of there and get a real jeep like the XJ or TJ.

  • sorry to say, but imo, all American cars were built with one thing in mind: use shitty plastics in all of the interiors

  • []o===o[] Land Rover ROCKS!!!

  • Tires on the Rover are mud tires, the tread on the jeep is filed in with mud...and appear to be street tires..

  • @sodes9957 Ha that is obviously the jeep's weakness and the LR's strength. You just proved the land rover was better.

  • @sodes9957 so if he had road tires WHY HE WAS OFFROADING, it is insane to even try

  • @alphadog717 you dont need big ass chunky tires to go offroading dude...... i go offroading almost daily in my jeep commander with tires that have nearly done 23 thousand miles

  • I'm not really entering this whole debate, as i love both vehicles for their abilities (and when i say jeep i mean a wrangler), i just wanted to point out that this does not look like any competition, just a 90 helping an SUV out of the mud. (jeeps wheels going forward)

  • OK.OK. Give this same tires for jeep.......

  • OK.OK. Give this same tires for jeep.......

  • OK.OK. Give this same tires for jeep.......

  • A Land-rover will pull a House down in reverse gear.I had a Series 3 LWB and in

low ratio it was dynamite. The Tyres on the Jeep were Roadgoing only.Little wonder

it could not gain any traction.

  • Nice land rover. Most vehical come with open differential from the factory. This saves gas, wear and tear on tires and gives you better turning on road. This jeep has the open diffs in it and needs lockers to do that type of off roading. I love Jeeps and they are both great trucks.

  • f##k you jeep

  • that was actually not a land rover, it was a spanish built santana. its almost the same truck, but there are things about it that are different...just informing

  • The classic Land Rover, the greatest car of all time without any doubt.

They were the first to explore the most inhosbitable places on the planet, they discovered new civilisations and shaped the world as we know it today - if it wasn't for the Land Rover we wouldn't have a clue about the world in as much detail as we do now. It will always be the best 4x4xFar.

  • no it isn't. as cool as it is, I'd take a Jeep over it. And look at the tires on the Jeep and look at the one on the "land rover", big difference. thats why the Rover won.

  • the jeep would not have won even with the same tyres hence why the landy was unsticking the jeep which was stolen from a british company before the first world war

  • @tuber23504 considering jeep has been around longer than land rover, and land rover wasinspired by jeep, and the old land rovers were built on jeep chassis, you may want to rethink your comment

  • jeep isnt going down, their just making vehicles for all kind of people, and believe me, the new grand cherokee with a lil upgrades can do more than the old one, but if you want a real offroader go with sahara, rubicon, wrangler, but when you wanna go in a trip, tell me how confortable it is to travel in a wrangler or rubicon.

  • Comment removed

  • defender, not surprised it saves the day...

  • jeep has changed and gone down the patriot and and compass is in fwd and you have to opt out for 4wd. thats not a real off road car

  • another jeep.. stuck in the mud

  • totally agree the only jeep i would buy now would be a rubicon 2 door or maybe the 4 door but probably not.... the rest are basically for soccer moms who wanna feel young lol, they would be stuck in my driveway lol

  • o ya i would take my locked xj on 31's over that jeep any day, 240000 and still doesn's burn oil on original enging and trans. only the rubicon in the jeep line would i possible go to some day... maybe if there as tough as my old cherokee sport

  • the new jeeps arnt made for that, same with the new rovers, if ur going to pit them together atleast have the same age :(

its like a sumo wrestler vs a child whos gunna win

  • Pathetic excuse. What are they made for then?

  • you seriously think the new cherokee can do anything the old one can? no its a city vehicle, just like the new hummers, there not for offroading.

  • Yeah seriously, a wrangler is what you want to face off a land rover

  • @sandking0077 you not been to the desert lately? all 4 wheelers rock crawlers have jeeps, for a reason. and btw, the original land rover was built on a jeep chassis, so of course the jeep will win, this wasnt a tug off the jeep was stuck in the mud that happens to anything.

  • @EatmyDust1311 actually i dont live near a desert, we have mud and trees where i live. my jeep has never got stuck, mud as high as the mirrors. ive recently rode in one of these landrovers 400k+ miles, slow as hell. my jeep has over 350+ and its still quick. i was just saying a 2010 grand cherokee wont do everything that my 1996 cherokee xj can do. andi didnt ever think jeeps were made to pull things out either, just have enough to handle themselvs.

  • @sandking0077 mud to the mirors? you may want to get a truck for that, and lift it and put on some big tires. lrs are slow, and a new jeep can do most or more than a old one.

  • @EatmyDust1311 my jeep is lifted and has big tires... my truck is a city vehicle.. and erlier this month i went to the chrysler dealership and talked to the jeep guys they said the new ones are definatly made for city driving unless you put money into making them offroad i'd be better off keeping mine.

  • well yeah you will mod a jeep, i havent seen many bone stock jeeps off roading but for an oem goat you vant really beat a wrangler rubicon, can you? not as fast as my raptor, but its like a tank-slow, sucks on the road, drinks like its attached to a oil well, and goes absolutely everywhere. cherokees not so much, say a grand cherokee srt8 the other day and it couldnt articulate up a driveway

  • @EatmyDust1311 i have yet to drive the rubicon, im sure its one of the good "newer" ones that can offroad nowadays. my cherokee xj has decent gas mileage even with the big tires. and the grand cherokee, city vehicle.

  • Comment removed

  • @EatmyDust1311 I love the raptor. best 4x4 pickup by far!

  • @sandking0077 I have a 2008 Defender 130 and it is as rugged as it can get. the problem is security bullshit asociations think its to hard in the outside and they can kill people easier, instead they should tell people to stop running into cars. truly, nowadays Defender is the most rugged vehicle produced, I can tell you after having a 2005 Land Cruiser single cab pick up, no comparison.

  • @sandking0077 do a search on the LR3 and LR4 here on youtube and watch what they can do. you'll be surprised. They are better than any other SUV of its kind offroad, not counting the wrangler because it is a totally different vehicle that competes with the defender 90.

  • @85BMW745i you could also do a search on jeep cherokee xj,

  • I have. I like them but a stock XJ is not near as capable as a stock disco II A Stock XJ has open diffs and no lockers or traction control. The hub lock actuator vacuum fitting came off of my friends Xj a few of times in the mud. Unless you add a locker you will not be climbing any rocks like my stock Discovery can or crossing any terrain that can cause one front tire and one back tire to lose traction. If you do you will only spin one front and one back, which won't happen in my Disco with TC

  • Stock for Stock an XJ is nowhere near as cabable as a Land Rover Discovery. Only people who are un aware of a land rovers capabilities will disagree. The XJ is cheaper and easier to mod and can be modded to the extreme alot easier and cheaper than a Disco II. A good lift, diff locks and tires and it is every bit as capable. the only advantage I would have then is that with full time 4wd I have a center diff, so it is far easier to steer off road, as my tires won't bind like a chain transfer case

  • @85BMW745i while mentioning the merits of the legendary landrover don't forget horrific fuel economy, laughable build quality, and the near universal ownership by half wit toffs.

  • @falseflag545 Okay you are right it does have crappy fuel economy, especially with the 32 inch tires I put on. You must be very young based on your comments. If you are trying to represent jeep you are giving them the bad name. Real die hard jeep enthusiast like my co-worker have respect for both brands. He is a jeep guy, and we have a blast together on trails.

  • @85BMW745i I own a jeep, nearly bought a 130 defender, and long for a Bronco V8 on LPG. I do not try to represent Jeeps nor will I stick my head in the sand for a brand so weak it had to be sold to a third world country!

  • @sandking0077 Do a search for this: Land Rover Discovery Traction Control. This is a stock disco II with tires. Try that with a stock XJ with only tires. The open diffs would not let you go through anything with that kind of axle articulation and having wheels off of the ground in mud. Again, not knocking the XJ

  • @85BMW745i What??!!! Wheres the disco? there no fucking disco in the video you FUCKTARD!

  • @falseflag545 Wow! I throw ignorant people like you out of the nightclub on a regular basis and get paid to do it. You are another internet tough guy. You probably aren't old enough to even get into a club and if you are, come to Kokopelis in Shreveport, La and ask for Big B.

  • @85BMW745i you use the word ignorant... interesting.... then you make assumptions on my age, physical build, social habits, and susceptibility to physical intimidation. ROFL. Big B. LOL is that for big bullshitter?!

  • @falseflag545 Yeah it is the third video down from the top if you type in the exact words. I am posting a video response so you are able to see it

  • @85BMW745i "third video down from the top" I give a shit! I watching this video and thats a jeep product and either a county or a defender! NOT A DISCO!

  • eso es un santana falso

  • well that proves the jeep has less ground clearance then the old rover..... probably cuz it's a stock city jeep with summer tires on it lol

  • jajajajaja cualkiera por gastarse una pasta ganza en un todocamino se cree que lleva un 4x4 de los buenos jajajajaja

  • Rovers are VERY UNRELIABLE Sell well in EPIC failada due to the fact you have no car companys

  • you dont like land rovers for a reason: you cant afford them

  • Land Rovers may be unrelaible but JEEPS are even worse, they are cheap bits of plastic which will breakdown before any landrover

  • JKTheDoc (4 hours ago) That Rover is a piece of shit. Your from Canada -EPIC FAIL

  • Junk Each and Every Part JEEP

  • No jeep always suck. Better tag along a Rover whenever.

  • The rover does not sell well in America due to it's VERY POOR RELIABILITY

  • Though very easy to fix, and the parts are among some of the cheapest vehicle parts ive ever had to buy!

  • @redberon1

Or because you can't afford it.

  • You had mud tires on the rover and the Cherokee did not

  • @redberon1 plus that rover was mainly for off road thats a luxary jeep...wrangler ot xj would have made it

  • the jeep is a couple years old if that with electronic wizzardry like traction controll n shit, the land rover is like 23 years old with no stuff at all

  • i take it mucho barro means land rover owns jeep.

  • hey it's about the sport of it all. Don't matter what you have how big small stock or mod'ed get out there get dirty have fun. be safe join the community of ur lame about it or have a bad trip out don't video tape it and put it on youtube. bring this back to it's roots everyone. :)

  • @morbusspeaks i agree with all what you said.

  • Calandgab. that is a stock grand cherokee.. with street rims on it....its a town car..you want to talk shit about jeeps at least look at the wrangler or regular cherokee?that rover has m/t's on it + a lift

  • no lift on that mate, like it would make any diffrence at all in that situation!

  • hahahahahahahha see jeep suck you motherfucking redneck americans!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Jeeps don't suck you piece of shit. This particular jeep was not equipped with the right tires. What are you? Some sort of European Fuck?

  • @JeepMan19007

Yea Jeeps don't get stuck but they go bankrupt right? LOLLL

  • no way ! i have grand cherokee with QDII and its not easy to stuck it in the mud. I tryed many times on deeper mud then these

  • is that jeep a 4x4 or just 2

  • Look and the wheels as the land rover pulls it free. All wheels are spinning So I guess its a 4x4

  • Maybe a 2...

It's a Grand Cherokee which comes in 4X4 and 2X4

  • Nevermind...

    It's a 4, just look at it!

But no I'm thinking you confused the Land Rover and the Jeep...

  • se supone k cuando pones VS es por k mostraras komo kompiten, no komo sacan del lodo a una camioneta -.-

  • tuber23504 dont you know that the landrover are a buildoff a willys jeep!sorry about the bad english

  • hey wrngler rule your little pickup bet sucks and also in your aother comment you said you could only dream of off road then how the heck would you now

  • i have never been to the usa but in england landrover owners all seem to look like child molesters.

  • so you're saying my mom looks like a child molester?

  • yes
