To me Vol 3. is when Jay was at his most swaggerific and cockiest...I always felt this album is too pop...but some of his best songs are on this album...dope man, so ghetto, and the verse he spit on do it again, the intro/intro and there's been a murder...He spit so fluidly but still maintaining that street edge...but it wasn't too overproduced...he balanced the art of freestyling and song writing on these songs.
