I like this opening and i like the japanese opening aswell, but they should really redub the english sailor moon it wasnt a very good dub at all and left alot of people disapointed, especially teenagers who enjoyed the japanese version which was intended for 13+ and the english which was completely changed the story line so it was 5+, kinda annoying VA's aswell..

This is not COPYING, its called keeping true to the music, while also making lyrics for the kids in AMERICA to follow along to. If you put the actual opening, Im sure any american kid at the time would be "...wut?" but with this, many kids could sing along all the while the song held its true musical score. Yes, the lyrics arent AMAZING and its very simple, but it got the job done and is a memorable part of many peoples childhood. *cough*

This theme always made me teary eyed when I came across it for some reason.

I started watching the Japanese version, and I found that oddly, the sounds in both of them are very similar despite the lyrics being completely different. I can't tell if that was intentional or not consider how unfaithful the early dub was.
