"There are some weird anommalies in some situations, for example you can forward swing and hit something behind you if you back up, and you can mount attack and hit behind you if you back up too."
animation bugs arent they? you are still back kicking them, its just the animation shows you swinging forward
it's a 'bug' in the way that you can hit players next to ur mount while u executed the front swing tho. Normally you should get in the 'side position' first if u want to hit someone next to ur mount.
I agree with ymgarl so to prove your point, you should remake the video and you should try to do it in action this time. Maybe in a 1 vs 1 pvp with your friend.
Your test may be biased by the fact you are standing still while using the leaning attack. There are some weird anommalies in some situations, for example you can forward swing and hit something behind you if you back up, and you can mount attack and hit behind you if you back up too. Perhaps what is happening is that when lean attacking from a mount you also take the hit direction of the forward mount attack (default when stationary) whereas the "mountbug" doesn't because you move to execute.

That is not graphical, because it attacks in the front as well.

The lean bug is not a graphical error it's a true bug that let you hit multiple hit boxes at same time.
Hot fix it's required before people will manage to get it work 100% of times via macro.

It makes sense to be able to hit two hitboxs at the same time - you're swinging your sword around the front and to the side.
This is no more unfair than giving the mouse a nice flick so you get a 180 swing arc with a melee weapon.
All these people just seem to be QQing because something actually hit as hard as they do.
46 front and 64.4 to the bank is where the damage caps out without atleast a Q2 transmuted sword.

Correction, I've just been told you can exceed the melee damage cap whilst mounted with a Q1 enchanted sword.
