New or old, In Flames never ceases to amazing and impress me, they've been my favorite band for almost 12 years and will probably continue to be until I'm 6 feet under. Who cares if they don't sound just like they used to, they are legends of metal. You have to evolve to stay alive in the music industry, and they know this.

They maybe drifted away from their sound they had in the beginning, but then they have matured and want to try new things. And as long as it sounds good in my ears I will listen to it. But I will never critizise a band for beeing "to mainstream" atleast. They are still great, and still one of swedens most popular metal bands.

I cannot even begin to describe this song... it's both angry, sad and calm at the same time... Watching Anders and the rest of the band play it so powerfully and so emotionally is truly something special. If anyone asked me to define In Flames' music, it'd be this song, simply for the emotional impact, melody and lyrics. Not the fastest, or the most technical, but perhaps the most beautiful song I've ever had the pleasure of hearing. Sounds lonely, but a calm, peaceful lonely.

All i want to say is that In Flames ends their shows with the best song they have ever made and therefore the best song in the fucking world.

The best song in the world is My Sweet Shadow.

The best show of My Sweet Shadow i have ever seen and the best live performance I have ever seen is when they played at the Arvika Festival back in 2007.

They blew up around 300 000 Sek on that show.
