Wie schoen, dass es jemand geschafft hat diesem wunderschoenen Lied das Stigma des Faschismus's zu nehmen. Wir hatten es in der Schule gelernt und es hat mich immer sehr beruehrt. Eine Freundin hatte es beim Begraebnis ihres Vaters gespielt. Soldat oder nicht ... es besingt den Abschied eines Kameraden.

Finally someone who gives credit to the real context of this tune! I'm sick of seeing the 'comrade' played to yet another Nazi-BS-slideshow.
