@Payasoplas The main difference at the time was the lack of online multiplayer for the PS2 version. With that said, the PS2 offers a better frame rate (60 fps but drops during some firefights and when you use the gauntlet), higher poly models and levels, more levels, a more unique campaign mode, and arguably better controls, though some textures do seem a bit blurrier (though not by much). With that said, the DC version still holds a special place in my heart.

@Payasoplas Sure. The campaign in the PS2 version makes use of many different gameplay modes. On one level it will be straight deathmatch, on another you'll have to capture a flag, or hold a flag for a certain amount of time. As you progress through the tiers, your character will "level up," increasing his/her stats for damage, armor, health, and speed. The PS2 version even has the bare minimum of a story, and even has a very basic final boss. Completing certain achievements in each level...

@Payasoplas will unlock items and weapons for use on your first spawn in the next level, giving you a bit of an advantage. As you said, this version has elements from Team Arena. Over all, I enjoy the PS2 version more, but it does have super long load times and lacks online multiplayer, though that isn't much of a drawback anymore.

This is FAKE!!! Quake 3 has only function to play lan or multiplayer, it's called - Quake 3 Arena or Quake 3 Team Arena. I have searched in google, it only founds Quake 3 Arena and Team Arena

Learn to read, I clearly state in the description that it's really only a series of botmatches.

But yeah, it's singleplayer and there's a story (Somewhat), thus I call it a campaign.

Hell, the game even has a proper non-bot boss battle in the final level.
