When I went to Taiwan last year, my parent gave me the long half rattan and showed me how to use it. They use it to lightly beat on the limbs to improve blood circulation. I didn't know that massage therapists in US actually use the rattan to do massage with. Thanks for the clip! Now I can use the rattan I have to work on my clients. My parents got it for $8 each. I got it for free. ;-)
I had a friend look at the tools I bought and he said they are actually Rattan and not bamboo. Rattan is part of the Palm Tree family and not even close to bamboo.
if u concider deep tissue massage, would u recommend rattan/bamboo tools over hands?

It helps save your hands...but it's harder to tell the depth of pressure.
