Thank you for that interview. I really miss that young woman. She was smart, sexy, and attractive. You always wonder where she would be had she not died. Man, I miss that young woman.
@NICOLE2DASMITH this was a a sad story so its not shocking ppl still mourn but its not even tht anymore .. its just keeping the memory alive .. thanks though
In addition to the 8/25/11 Fan Memorial at Fernciliff we're having an Aaliyah Fan Memorial Cruise afterward. Go to Facebook and search Aaliyah Memorial Boat Cruise for the details & how 2 get tickets. Spread the word, come join us fans as we honor her life & legacy. Kevin E. Taylor, creator of BET's Access Granted is confirmed as a special guest on the cruise. The Ferncliff memorial will probably be shortened to allow time to make it to the boat on time. These are fan organized events
its not looking behind, we jus love her music...do you see them letting michael jackson or elvis go? no, its just that there music lives forever...so you back off and take that negativity elsewhere...maybe to beyonce page please!!!! lol
@TheAaliyahFans This is one rare gem interview. Hard to find. Didnt know she met Steve Harvey & was on his show. This mustve been in early spring 2001?
@TheAaliyahFans Me, I was born in 1990, I didnt grow up knowing Aaliyah like I do now. I just remember me & my mom listening to her song "Never Giving Up" in the car on a casette mixtape thoughout the 90s. It was a very deep song for my mom, because she was dealing with a very hurtful relationship & Aaliyah's song really helped her get through the emotions. I didnt go to any of her interviews or performances. I was only 11 when she died & I remember my mom telling me about her passing.
