  • leaving home isnt easy but just listen to brian may is 100% right dont go back incase you have to but still dont love you freddy R.I.P.

  • It was 1979, I was 17 years old...standing at a bus stop on the side of the road, waiting for the Greyhound to take me away. "Leaving home ain't easy but may be the only way" indeed.

  • I Played this Song when I was going to Boot camp

  • is brian singing on this one??

  • @GRILLBUOY101 Yeah he is

  • This song instantly makes me want to cry....

  • who is the one guy who disliked?

  • One person thought leaving home was easy...

  • Leaving home ain't easy!!

  • I could listen to the guitar at the very beginning forever.

  • Queen always had those great sleeper songs that never got played on the radio. But us true Queen fans would always find them. I still have all of Queens albums.

Miss the hell out of you Freddie. RIP.

  • Do reckon there is someone out there with a hatred for Queen?

Cus there is always 1 dislike, pissin annoying

    Its probably sid vicious

  • @TheZmeisterr i think sid actually dug queen..jus sayin

  • @TheZmeisterr And Norman Sheffield!

  • @chpman2013 Jeff Porcaro drummer of Toto, one of the best!

  • fucking awesome! :'(

  • why there's always some twat who dislikes these wonderful songs? go fuck yourself!

  • i forgot how good brian sings.he is a god on the guitar but he is good singing too

  • ALL Queen albums are EXCELLENT!!:D

  • don't forget 05-08-92

  • @DalitPanther83 who died on that date?

  • dont forget 8-12-80 and 16-8-77

  • Genialne !!!

  • The days that music died: 2/3/59, 11/24/91, 8/9/95

  • @cparkes92 8/12/80...does that date mean anything to you?

    How about..16/8/77 ?

  • @QueenReigns1 I also thought those were missing. Interesting fact: "Dreamer's Ball", also on this album, was written by Brian May as a tribute to Elvis Presley (according to wiki).

  • @eddievanhalenstoung

    Why are they messed up?

    Idiot face.

  • @QueenReigns1 o ya well your stupid dummy head

  • @eddievanhalenstoung

    Please explain your last comment.

I have no idea what it's supposed to mean.

  • An underrated gem

  • LOL! Brian's voice is sped up from 1:58 - 2:19 and it sounds like he's on helium! :L love you Bri <3

  • @MegaQueenlover Shhhhh ... You are exposing one of Queen's studio tricks.

  • @MegaQueenlover makes me giggle every time XD

  • @MegaQueenlover Hahaha, I know, but that's pretty original, isn't it?

As for me, I don't know why, I just love the way he sings the very last line. :)

  • I have no doubt that the queen of the '70s, is the best thing that ever happened to the music not only rock, but the music genereal. compositional complexity, proud and beautiful melodies, rich vocal harmonies, different arrangements layers, musical diversity, a never-before-seen production methods

  • sorry for mi inglish... i am from argentina

  • sorry you had reason jazz is a masterpiece, one of the best albums in history 9 / 10

  • sorry you had reason jazz is a masterpiece, one of the best albums in history 9 / 10

  • As much as I love Queen, I feel that Roger's tracks (Fun It and More of that Jazz) are the weakest on the album. Tracks like this are pure gold

  • Nice song...

  • You know the only guy who gave this the thumbs down is just being a homer

  • Wow, Brian's guitar works really sounds like violins on this one.... and the actual song sounds very Beatles-ish too, it sure is a nice one... always loved Brian's voice, sounds so peaceful...

  • me entanta ^.^

  • viva queen la mejor banda de rock!!

  • This is a great song and I never heard it before.A very special person send it to me tonight and I love him so very much...I hope we can make it.Ich liebe dich Jens

  • Queen -Bogowie muzyki!!!!!

  • Too bad the bass doesn't cut through the mix as much as it deserves. As a matter of fact, it's a quite enjoyable line composed by Deacon.

  • My first Queen LP i bought....I still remember the dept store i bought it from.

  • @chrisfdny1 Awesome! I wish I could have memories like that :)

  • sweet

  • ABSOLUTELY love the full overdubbed guitar sound Brian gets combined with the harmonies to make it a nice big production, as in all Queen songs! Wot a rich sound Queen got. Sad that music lacks this nowadays

  • This is the best album.

  • @greenspacedog Yes, between this, and 'News Of The World' Queen put out two classics that still reasonate and endure.

  • ohhh brian in this song is sooo sweet!!!!

Roger, Brian, John and Freddie always in my heart!!!

  • i am spanish and i think that is a

    very beautiful song by brian

    Queen the best!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Roger, Brian, John & Freddie always in my heart!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Brian's voice is lovely on this.

  • actually is the album released in october 1978.

  • Everything they did in the seventies was great, this is very Beatles influenced,

  • Love this album! I was born the year Freddie died, and raised on Queen. Roger Taylor plays my pulse!

  • and I'm on my way.../

  • sheer heart attack is my fav, love that album, im 19 in victoria,TX USA!

  • Przepiękne

  • @Ognjen91095

    sure will

  • La più bella canzone cantata da May nei Queen!

  • Epic album.... An amazing compilation showing off some of Queens greatest talent. Great stuff lads. 9/10 for me... :)

  • perfection

  • "Jazz" up to that point, was the weakest Queen album.

  • Greenthigh..you have a lot to learn my friend..

  • I bnought all the Queen albums and thought that was the weakest up to that point. To say I have a lot to learn is just a stupid thing to say. You have to qualify your statement.

  • Apologies my friend,I assumed you were less knowledgable about the band.Jazz was the album which turned me into a Queen nut so I find it hard to understand why a fellow fan would rate it badly but we all have our favourites. All the best.

  • No worries. I still think "Jazz" is great, but coming off the back "NOTW" it disappointed

  • every album is different...every album can't be like the previous one..it can't be 1974 forever unfortunately...my fav. is Queen II but enjoy them all cakehole...they all bring just a little something different...how is Dead on Time off Jazz weak shitbreath?????? Is a pretty stupid thing to say cakehole...I'll qualify the statement...you probably weren't even alive in the 70s...wannabe...

  • Everybody has their opinion Greenthigh and you are most certainly allowed yours. For me though as a fan that was there from the beginning of Queens music ( yes, I am that old ~ sigh ~ ) JAZZ was a culmination of all their past album attempts. They were pulling flavors from off of this album, a little splash off of that one, maybe just a little dab off of that one. JAZZ was kinda like a grab bag of sorts. It's definately up their among my favorites in regards to the entire collection.

    ~ Cheers

  • Good analysis. I don't dislike the album!

  • true... Jazz album is great...like this song...I'm that old too...what happened to all the great music of the 70's ha?????...music since like '85 has sucked out loud...musicians just don't know how to rock anymore and it's quite horrible to say and see...bring back the 70s ha...

  • Comment removed

  • @1974queen Hey feel lucky, atleast you got to enjoy the 70's! lol Theres not a day i dont wish i had been born in '61 like my mother, who always makes sure she reminds me how awesome the 70' were! I got to be a teen in the '90's, WTF - that music was crap, and todays music is even worst! God bless the likes of Queen and Elton John - true legends.

  • All dolled up many a time I had to leave home and this song did for me. HAPPY BIRTHDAY FREDDIE!

  • JAZZ IS A GREAT ALBUM 8.5 / 10

  • @pahloco Except for "Fun It" and "More of That Jazz"... I can't listen to them 'till the end...

  • @pahloco yes it is.

  • @pahloco EXCUSE ME 10/10

  • Great melancholick track, played it at my mothers funeral last year....How time flies...

  • sorry for your mother, my mother is die of cancer in may 2009.

  • ohhhhhh brian is a excenteles singer, beatiful VIVA QUEEN FROM ARGENTINA

  • love this song, great song and great album

  • I don't know why I love this song and also this album! Queen rules!!!

  • jazz is a great album 8 / 10

  • I can sing this song like a sumbitch. I'll finish it and my wife and two girls will applaud. Am I patting myself on the back ? Well it's eviident enough isn't it ?

  • 24-11-91 A hard day for the music...

  • I agree. A hard day for arts in general.

  • @HarryPotter15b

Indeed, I agree. However, it's funny you should post this comment under this song, since it's not sung by Freddie, but by Brian May.

  • @pakvasevigreste hes still in the band

  • @HarryPotter15b Freddie Mercury and Eric Carr will never be forgotten

  • My sister ordered this for me from a record club. I asked her for "The Game." She forgot the title and ordered this instead. I absolutely wore this record out when I got it. It is the best Queen album. There will never be another band like them. God bless 'em! Thanks for the post.

  • Brian, You Are The Best! :)

    I love you

  • this is my childhood

  • One of most underrated songs of Queen

And for me .-.. its the best song :D

Brian is God and freddie too

  • Brian sings so beautifully...queen i miss you!You were FANTASTIC...no one can replace you darlings!-_-"

  • leave home aint easy

    its true...

    i miss you pop

  • Brian May isn´t underrated, he is God.. He´s guitar God and he sings just beutiful..

Don´t touch Brian !!! He´s the frontman of Queen now..

  • As much as I admire Brian's amazing musicianship, I must agree with the others that he is underrated. For the genius guitarist and composer that he is, it's very rare that you'll hear or see his name mentioned in "Best Guitarist" lists. This is a fantastic track, and underrated as many of his others.

  • LOVE IT

  • Hermosa! Simplemente hermosa. John Deacon un grande.

  • beautiful!

  • I love Brians Voice, sometimes I think Brian himself whas underated.

  • i love this song, it might be my favorite queen song. i really like brian may's vocals. i wish he sang a few more songs than he did. "'39" is a great song also. "jazz" is my favorite queen album, i always thought that it was underated. the naked girls on the bicycles are pretty cool too :)

  • eternal

  • Love this song!

Brian May wrote such great songs and sang them so beautifully.
