@03ishmack Hiking and Mountain climbing refer to the difficulty. Hiking is a steady climb up a hill, where there are challenges but its steady progress. Mountain climbing is a steep challenge where you must overcome hostile terrain. Hiking is Easy, Mountain climbing is normal, and Hard is unlocked after completing "Hiking" or "Mountain climbing"

The modes you can unlock after further playthroughs redefine the term "hard".
