My younger brother used to sing this song when he was little. He would use his fingers to simulate the video, I see that now. The lyrics just popped into my head for some reason. It was happy/sad to hear this song. He passed away in 2007. RIP Francisco.

I used to sing this and a few other sesame street songs to my nephew while playing an acoustic. he finally found out where I got my songs from after he learned how to use a computer a few years ago.

Well, I'm 24 now, I used to watch stuff like this when I was around 5-6..maybe 7 just to see if anything else changed...around the same time they did Monsterpiece Theater and did that Cyranose de Bergerac skit which is pretty much the only one I remember catching in that time.

Man I used to love this song as a kid! But I just realized, thinking about the lyrics as an adult and as a biology major, frogs can't swim in the ocean - it's salty and they'll die!!! Frogs only live where there's freshwater.

Thanks for posting this video. This song is my #2 all-time favorite song from Sesame Street ("Pinball Number Count" is #1!) I sang this to my daughter when she was a baby, now we watch this once a week and she sings it all the time.

Actually Ernie sounds just like Kermit, because Kermit came first. And that's no coincidence because they were both played by the same person, Jim Henson. Now they are both played by Steve Whitmire.

Due to my slow internet connection at my parents house I can't view YouTube videos.Thus I had no idea that Wattamack4 was suspended. I'm glad that like most suspended Sesame Street uploaders he came back.

That frustrates me because over half of my Sesame Street playlist videos are Wattamack's and the darn things going to have to be fixed up. It's going to be so empty!

Thanks for reuploading my favorite Kermit song! I'd be crushed if it disappeared off of Youtube forever!
