is there a gore patch or sumthing for the full game? coz the 510 thing isnt that great with the full coz it means that yu can only play single player.

nah bro. you CAN play online, i do it. The other anoying thing is when the game updates, it reverts back to the lame 4/10 rubberchickens version. (lol, Good Game reference) and it DOES work with the FULL game.

I have the UK version and it's 590. I guess if i changed it to 510 it'd be the dedicated server thingy. (Mine works as it is but just adding:P)

I found this fix on a l4d forum earlier btw, using the exact pictures. :p

@TinyHorne yea, even if you have the censored you can still change to the ded server app id (510) and you can play with friends that have the censored game, this is for aussies that is since all of UK has uncensored.

iv done all of the stuff but when i open it where kyle tells me to, as soon as i get to the main menu it comes up with a error saying i need to run steam or something. any help plz. BTW great vid im telling all my friends.

hey umm guys? my steam appID is 590 in both files, but i still have anuncensored version. riot cops and all. no shitty dissapearing bodies, but i do have the full gore and dismemberment.

I downloaded my version through the UK steam website. so how does this 590>510 code effect the game at all?

@theliberator1 If you have the UK Version then your fine, don't worry about changing the steam app id, I had mine given to be from a friend in Netherlands so I'm in the same boat as you.

@jimmyhatts In my opinion valve will release a patch for the full game (unless a player does) that will allow full gore for the Aussies, because the government cannot censor Down Loadable Content.

Yes, I am sorry to say this only works if you play with other people that have this enabled, so if you want to play with your friends and they have the high violence just tell them to do that to their files so you can have the gore, alternatively play a LAN game with your friends. Hope this helps

kool, new knew valve would do such a sloppy job with the cover up of the gore! though it was probably planned this way so anyone whos balls have dropped could have looked it up on google and figured it out. Go valve for doing half ass jobs! (dont take that the wrong way)
