Hey Tania, I appreciate what you're trying to do... help people with limited budgets find fun and interesting ways to redecorate and freshen up our tired, boring spaces. I recently bought some of the stainless contact paper to use on the side of my "faux stainless" fridge. The front looks stainless but one of the gray painted sides is exposed now, so I'm hoping to cover it with the contact paper. Thanks for the chalkboard paint idea. :) I'm a big HGTV watcher and love your work. :)
Hmmm? Maybe contact paper is better now. It used to loosten and bubble as it aged...pretty messy...definately not what you want in a kitchen...been there. You say it is important to cut to exact size, then later say don't worry if it is hanging over the edges, because it is easy to trim off. Which is it? Also, no mention of the danger of stretching the paper??? Who's gonna bend over a counter to write on a chalk board? Sorry, no praise here.
