  • One of my old teachers (the badass) said I did not hire you to grind I hired you to weld.

  • I always use two grinders. One with a wire wheel and one with a disc. makes it much quicker of a job.

  • I always do the top half first and then the bottom after on the root. I find it easier to tie it in that way.

  • when i took my stick test we could have no less than a 1/2 in gap i ended up failing my stick test but passed my 3g FCAW test i am the only 17 year old in my school that has passed the welder certification test

  • D1.1 - D1.5 - Fracture Critical w/ 1/16" FCAW-G. No grinder. It's a long, sweaty, nerve racking test. . . But rewarding if you pass!
