I use to have the silver car one on 2:32. One of my friends had both the sonic and tails one. We use to see who could get the farthest on each one. I think we had the tails one from the 2nd gen version but that's about it. By the time those ones came out we were phasing out of the whole sonic craze. I was in 2nd grade when they came out and back then the screens seemed fine. Things were so much simpler then. Kids with phones were uncommon and looking at a small LCD screen seemed fun.

Yeah, I remember this. I was 5 or 6 at the time. I was one of the 2500 people to get the sliver hockey game, where you had to shoot a puck past the robot or robots, depending on the level, which move in a set pattern around the screen to block your pucks from entering the goal. I won Sonic Heroes, which I haven't played in a couple of years, but I still have and I have completed it twice I think. These bring back memories. My favorite game was the red one, that wasn't the Sonic game. No space.

wow, this brought back memories, i had the green sonic one back when i was like 8 years old in panama....i clearly remember that me and mom where at my sister's ballet academy, and while she was practicing, my mom told me "lets go get something to eat". she asked if i wanted pizza or mcdonald's.. and i said mcdonalds becausei saw a guy eating a happy meal and he had the tails game. i wanted one because sonic was my idol (he still is) and.... i got the sonic the hedgehog one :)

Oh man, hahaha. These McDonald toys are a part of my childhood. I remember getting the Amy and Rouge one, where you control one of them (can't remember who you control) and beat the other in a tennis game.

In Europe the 2005 ones were bettter as they had only Sonic characters. I remember i had Amy and Rouge Tennis, Shadow and Omega Basketball, Sonic skateboarding, Cream catching flowers from a tree, Knuckles as a goalie, and tails [dont remember tails game]

The Sonic platform game was utterly boring and the background irritated me as it didn't help at all for the actual LCD visibility. The Banana game was quite cool tho', batteries didn't last very long.

When you say "i swear these things were bigger when i was a kid" It's because when you were a kid your hands were smaller so it would seem bigger. However now you are no longer that age your hands are bigger and it seems smaller.
