  • How does he break the lights with the Darkness? What button does he press?

  • this is not hell.this his vision of you ...the apocaliptic war.

  • How do u no its Hell? i though u were in the Darkness's mind

  • The bird represents one of the four horsemen of the opcolipse.

  • apocalypse.

  • I feel bad for the left head, he never gets the heart.

  • WooBoo is right they aren't Nazi's these were not led by Adolph Hitler they where led by Kaiser Wilhelm. At the time of WW1 Hitler was still a letter boy that delivered messages from trench to trench.

  • why does the righty get all the hearts!? that annoys me

  • How come the British Soldiers stay dead, but the German Soldiers don't unless you eat their hearts?

  • The british soldiers do come back to life

  • at 2:13 did the darkness spit the heart out?

  • yup to create a hole i think

  • and by the way beerbaron don't talk in any of your next videos please. i want to enjoy this game just by itself

  • I can't believe that one zombie near the end didn't react when you impaled his comrade.

  • the germans were trained not to look after each other, unlike the british, they were trained to leave the dead and finish off their wounded, as we were trained to bring our wounded back to heal then send back into combat

  • Well, I'm pretty damn sure they weren't trained to let the enemy kill their comrade and then stab them a few times and then kill them.

  • This is the scariest level in the game. Make sure you devour the Kraut's hearts. If you don't, well, they'll respawn and try to kill you again. Hell is scary.

  • no it isn't scary

  • fucking nazis deserve every bullet

  • @Wardog261291 There was NO nazis in the first world war...

  • @Finalzero ok my mistake, i thought this was WW2 for some reason

  • No its not, its definately WW1!

  • ROFL at 3:23, poor zombie german. kept accidnetally stabbing him lol

  • wot do you mean poor zombie german? they're nazis! they deserve much worse

  • Except...They AREN'T Nazis. They are soldiers in the army of Kaiser Wilhelm, not Adolf Hitler. This is a hell version of the trench battlefields of WW1, when they were still the German Empire under the rule of a Kaiser. WW2 does not come along until 30 or so years, as a direct consequence of this conflict.

  • " you'll ah , see the bird thing right ther-"

    "weird-ass shit.."

lol that part was pretty funny. nice walkthrough too.

  • So Hell is World War I? Well, it does makes a little sence... still, what happens if you die in Hell?

  • nothing, exactlty the same

  • Never mind that 1 animation doesent exist....It was actually the right head throwing a chunk of the heart to the ground and the left head just misses it.Ull see it in 2:06-2:11,pay close attention to 2:09-2:11

  • The right head is the dominant head. Its a big brother, little brother, relationship,so to speak....The right head is a selfish, bully and hogs all the hearts.I think i only recall one animation in which the left head actually gets a heart?I not sure that 1 even exsist though....

  • lol ive only ever seen the lefty eat a heart once :P and i use the demon arm all the time, much more fun ^^

  • Cause it is...

  • hey how come the only one that actually swallows the hearts is the snake thing on the right?

  • why deas the evil mounters eat their hearts

  • because it is cool

  • Is this after jenny dies?

  • Yeah

  • 3:20

That second nazi (I''m assuming it's a nazi) dosen't do a very good job of paying attention... or even helping his dying friend there.

  • Near the end, I was thinking, wow, does he think that if he ignores what's happening to everyone around him, it will just go away?

  • what do the colors mean for the snake men?

  • Amount of darkness energy I believe.

  • I've been waiting for you guys to start up on this again.

The game has an interesting take on hell.

  • any break from the typical fire and brimstone is a welcome one.

  • I agree, it's a brilliant interpretation. I can;t think of anything in history that was more 'Hellish' than WW1 and the trenches.

If a game depicting WW1 is ever made, they'd be smart to look at The Darkness as inspiration. A more real-to-life portrayal of the trenches would obviously not be the same, but it wouldn't be that much different to how it appears in this game.
