I feel like they missed a crucial choreographical component here. Awesome nonetheless, but this school does have a dance school. Flash mobs (in my understanding) are meant to appear to be spontaneous, then have some aspect of choreography and, without announcement, just gone. Good on them though. I have spent countless hours in that library. I could have used something like that once in a while.

I can't believe I missed this. It's things like this that make me feel like the Kaimin should run all the way through to the end of the year. I know there's finals and stress and all, but a shorter edition during finals week could at least highlight stuff like this.

Ya, we have 3 black guys on the football team. But since they're on the football team, they don't have to take classes or finals, so they're out doing something black people do.

Fundamentally, this was a matter of respect. Flash mobbing is not inherently disruptive, but in this case it really was. I'm not sure why I should have to wait for people to finish jumping around before I can continue working. There was no announcement that the "mob" would be over in a few minutes, so once the second song started, I left.
