DS - I picked Dieago, but I picked him to crush JS. All DS proved in that fight to me is that he has no power. He hasn't a hope in hell again BJ, KF, SS - he's too weak.
DS needs to really pick up his strength training. He tapped JS a number of times with some solid upper cuts and hooks, but never really rocked Stevenson. If he took that up against BJ or KF, he'd get killed right now. Given their treatment of JS, that doesn't bode well for Dieago.
Koshcheck - needs to pick up tecknichal boxing skills. Sorry, to have seen his lose.
DM - looked great in his fight; what a sub.
NM - he looked great. He got caught a little in the first, but other then that,, nothing. Great ending. He's vastly improved. That camp has to be the best camp in MMA.
Why the hell should Okami get a title shot? His list of wins aren't even considered in the same league as Marquardts or Maias.
If anything they should have Marquardt/Maia...or have either Marquardt or Maia fight the winner of Silva/Leites, then have whoever isn't the #1 contender (Marquardt or Maia) fight Okami...but by no means should Okami get a shot before either of those guys.
Silva might want to set the record straight, but Okami hasen't earned the right to fight him.
Maia has submitted Sonnen, Herman, MacDonald, and Quarry. All fighters I guarentee Okami would take to a decision, one he already did. Lister, Tanner, MacDonald, all would be or have been submitted by Maia, even Lister.
In all fairness those have been good fights for Maia, aka easy fights for him.
Taking a fighter to decision and submitting him are two different things, because Maia, if taken into deep waters will lose, likewise Okami since he takes a while to open up would be most vulnerable early. They're both different fighters, and to compare them seems a bit unfair.
Anyway I appreciate your insight, and we will see what happens :).
Man that KO that was delivered to Koscheck was rediculous..I never expected a new blood to KO Koscheck....thats a HUGE upset. Joe Daddy is officially the gate keeper for the LW division.
I think that is what happened with Kos, knocked out for a brief second and then back to consciousness, I personally would've allowed Thiago to land at least one punch while Josh was on the ground, but I'm not a ref.
And I think Nate v Maia next, and the winner of that takes on winner of Silva V Leites
Your catchphrase should be "ya i'm like the chuck norris of youtube mma" lol, great video as always and the production quality is getting better and better and looks great
nice review Demain Maia proved that he is a wizard on the ground but i right now do not think he is title contender. He is a fighter where you can see that his stand up is a big hole in his game. I was amazed at how Marquardt put on that clinic against Gouviea he really desimated Wilson. I dont know if you saw the Paul Kelly fight on the air but that was a pretty good fight as well. Also Junior Dos Santos needs to be back on the main card
Anybody know what happened to the MMA Kid?? The reviewer that is.

Even though Joe has lost 3 of his last 4. They were against some pretty stiff competition. I say he still beats 75% of the guys in the 155 division.

agreed. He's definitely one of the top guys.

His fight vs Efrain Escudero will be a very interesting match.

That Maia submission was incredibly smooth...so much Sonnen's comment that he's better than A. Silva!

As to JS - he's just a gate keeper.

I agree, I still think Okami should be next for a title shot, or have him fight Marquart.

Because Silva's one of Silva's losses outside the Octagon was to Okami, sure it was a DQ, but I'm sure Silva wants to set the record straight.
Also...your point about Marquardt is fine, but Maia...you must be joking. Okami has fought better people than Maia

Great video as always. Great breakdowns, always enjoy watching your vids.

Koscheck was definitely out, when he hit the ground he had no idea where he was.
Maia looked super impressive and I'd love to see him fight the winner of Leites vs Silva.
Nate is looking rejuvenated but Wilson was looking gased by the second round and he seriously needs get his conditioning up to scratch.
Diego looked great at 155, I think maybe 1 more fight and then he should get the winner of Penn vs Florian.
Anyway great video as always mate.
