  • a hole new spin on the fraise beat your chicken huh?

  • I think I heard the chicken say, "What a fucking ride"!!

  • Does deplucking a chicken in this manner cause any bruising to the tissue?

  • You were told to dress the chickens! Now they are all naked!!

  • now time to eat redneck chicken!

  • I've looked at several of these on youtube and I'm always left with the same question: where do all those feathers go??

  • @rainbowsnbubbles There is a 1/2 inch gap between the spinning plate and the tub. The feathers simply fall under the unit, after about 75 birds I need to move it.

  • thanks for your explanation, happy new year to you, your idea wil help me to earn $5000 per month

  • seguradojr - The motor spins at 1725 attached to the 2.5 inch drive pulley the belt drives a 10 inch pulley attached thru a front wheel drive car bearing assembly to the plate making the final drive 431 RPMs.

  • congratulations for the idea, how many RPM the engine has this machine if you do not know who the manufacturer of it,

because I need to make one for my company here in Brazil, thanks for your attention and success for you and your family.

  • if the chicken wasn't dead, he certainly is now

  • wooooooohoooooooooo i wnt ride :D

  • Wouldn't all the tumbling and rubber fingers "bruise" the meat? I have no experience but very interested. Would this work for turkey's as well???

  • @BUBnEM01 Surprizingly not at all. I washed hundreds of chickens thru the washer and about 10 turkeys.

  • @BUBnEM01 Yes there is a video under chicken washer with a turkey too.

  • I'd love a copy of those plans... you can find me on facebook as Joel Hallet

  • Seams like a huge waist of water. We are in a desert, so using water like that would be my only concern. We either skin them or pluck them by hand here.

  • >then cut the thighs off after popping the hip joint and finally filet off the breast, making them boneless skinless breast.<

If you're going to produce skinless chicken breasts, why not just skin the chicken in the first place? that's faster than even a chicken plucker. The skin's the best part anyway!

  • @sagehilll The plucker not only removes the feathers but the dirt as well, trying to skin a chicken is hard with all the feathers getting onto the meat. I do agree the skin is needed for the wings legs and thighs.

  • :O That's cool as hell.

  • What size is the washer tub? I'm not sure mine is big enough.

  • Sure as hell faster than by hand.

  • please send plans to. annruger@aol.com. thanks

  • what was the web site you ordered the rubber fingers from, i could not understand it in your video

  • @Fletchman08 kent-company dot c o m

  • @pzlr0v

which ones did you get in there. They got bunch of different types of fingers.

  • @filmftw3 kent-company dot c o m the model number was C-25

  • May I have a copy of the plans, too, please? sparky1@ix.netcom.com

  • can you email plans, I have a washing machine and rubber fingers and just need a clue..... chickens@naessigs.com

  • Hello,

By far I like your idea on the chicken plucker best. Could I please get a copy of the plans as well? Thank you so much.

    hiddenoakfeeds@gamil.com

  • Could you please send me a copy of the plans? Thanks. rmitchel@uwsp.edu

  • it seems like you get alot of requests for those plans it wouldnt be a bad idea to upload them to mediafire or some kind of file hosting site and have it run through adfly and make a few becks its not alot and the people who want it wait 5 seconds and then click skip ad and youve made a few cents :D

  • Hi there, was hoping you might still be willing to send plans out on your plucker... beewench at ymail dot com....

    thanks!

  • Great job! I would love to have the plans! ChristinaJoMD@yahoo.com Thanks

  • Hello - I left a message here a couple weeks ago. I would like a copy of the plans to build this too, please. dawnb52 at g mail dot com This is great.

  • Looking at building one. We don't process 30 at a time but I still hate plucking them. The wings are the worse. Probably 10 at a time around here. Thanks for the info.

  • I'm interested in how to clean the washer when your done?

  • @dixdox62 You flip it on its side and scrap and rince the feathers out, after about 30 birds I remove the feathers if doing many birds. Then when I'm done for the day I rinse the tub out with bleach. Surprisingly there is very little mess, when seperating the chicken, I cut the wings off at the shoulder joint, then cut the legs first at the knee joint then cut the thighs off after popping the hip joint and finally filet off the breast, making them boneless skinless breast.

  • Well you probably never thought you would get such a great response from your plucker:) I would appreciate the plans if you wouldn't mind. Moises@moisesmorales. Com thanks.

  • The fingers were model C 25 from w w w dot kent -company dot c o m factory direct from Kencal Rubber 3545 Normal Av Chicago Il 60609. To me looks like they changed names to w w w dot calumetrubber dot c o m

  • Excellent! I have a question, did you have to tone down the speed at all? My only concern is tearing the skin, but this looks like it does just fine.

Also, have you tested it on larger fowl, like maybe a goose or turkey? I'm just wondering about size/weight limit.

  • @MrMarcusx9 The feathers go underneath, so you simply lift it up after about 40 birds and shovel the feathers. I wash it with bleach before and after each use for safety. It works really good. We had chicken tonight for supper.

  • How easy is cleaning the machine after processing?

  • The only problem I see is the buildup of feathers in the machine.

  • @pzlr0v how well does this work on ducks and geese. i know they have extra down that is much tougher to get off than regular feathers

  • @reptilehunter7 I would love to try, but I do not hunt ducks or geese. There was a guy I work with that was going to bring one over and never did. If your ever in the Northeast Ohio area look me up, I would welcome the chance to try.

  • pretty cool but does it beaks bones ?

  • @lordmat666 No, it does not break bones, but sometimes the head comes off . Last weekend I processed 50 in roughly 3 hours with kids helping.

A few friends and I would like to go in together to make one of these. plucking is such a big job and we'd love to be able to do this without the full assembly that the whizbang requires. Are you still sending info to people? my email address is teresawesa@ymail.com
