Emmanuel outshines everyone around him, but is very generous in allowing some of his light to reflect onto others. The body language says it all. Emmanuel is loose and relaxed, his tone rings out like a bell, and he improvises like crazy. Kirtley stands like a stick and makes sure he hits the notes. But any guitarist who plays on stage with Tommy Emmanuel has my profound respect, and together they produce a nice bit of music here.

two amazing musicians playing together, what a neat thing. they really make their guitars sing, it's so much more than fingers touching a fretboard. you get music every day , but only on special days do you get magic. These guys are magic together.
