No. 'Blue Dragon' is another Xbox 360 Exclusive JRPG developed by Mistwalker and Artoon and published by Microsoft Game Studios.

Also, just recently, Mr. Sakaguchi announced that they have already started pre-production on 'Blue Dragon 2.'

Yes it was.

BD was released on the Xbox 360 in EU and US on August 2007. Also, Mr. Sakaguchi has confirmed that "Blue Dragon 2" is already in planning stages! XD

Anyway, the Blue Dragon Anime premiered in the United States, on Cartoon Network, April 2008. Hope that helps.

thought i should add, incase u wanted to update the description ananda81, BD is the first xbox360 game to have 3 discs, when i saw that as i bought it (a "buy 2 for a smaller price" deal :D (HMV RULES XD )), i knew it had to be good.

wasnt till i was where u meet the Gorgohs that i realise it was part DBZ then later i was told that FF creators had an hand in its creation. that instantly explained to me why it totally ROCKED!! :D

I'm playing Blue Dragon right now and I enjoy it quite a lot!! You can also choose between the Japanese and English audio track; I'd would have played it in English anyway ^_^ Once I have finished the game I am also planning to do some music videos, I haven't decided on a Song yet but I am sure I will have one once I am finished with it lol...might take me a while though.

The game got a decent rating but, that dosent seem to matter to me. Because I`m a HUGE fan of Uematsu and Sakaguchi and the Final Fantasy series so I wouldnt be suprised if the game were better in some other countries than on the homefield. Loved the video by the way. I think I`m going to favorise it?

About BD: Blue Dragon received really great reviews in Japan, from 'Famitsu' and many others. I guess it is more directed towards the eastern Asia market, whereas 'Lost Odyssey'-- (Mistwalker's 2nd RPG,) will be more oriented towards the western market.
