Terrible interpretation, this piece is played about twice as fast as it should be, no time for softness and reflection which are its strong points.

@waalkwriter Your interpretation isn't law. Kissin takes virtually the same tempo. Just a bit more rubato.

wow the stretching must be tough if your 11. thats impressive. If you like the piece keep at it, its totally worth it when you get to know the piece and you can put your own stamp on it.

playing from memory? I can't play any other way. I have to learn the notes and memorize them

i used to do that. but i am MUCH better at reading than i was then. there is something to be said for just straight up memorizing the pieces though. it comes in real handy for recitals. but being able to read has its advantages too.

at first its a tricky piece bit if you put that extra bit of passion and love into the piece u will find yourself being able to finish it within a few weeks
