  • This seems to be slightly FASTER than the Amiga Version. Extremley impressive work.

It will run perfectly in WinVice 2.3.

  • Is it me or are the character movements in this game pretty good?

  • @MarkPage01 The original game was renown for its good animation but I find it a bit surprising that even the C64 version captured the movements so well.

  • Impressive porting and coding optimisation!

If this version was released during the hey days of the C64, it would have surely gave Impossible Mission a run for it's money!

  • Man this game.....This was the first game I ever played. Man the memories. And damn was this a hard game to beat.

  • I wonder why this was never originally released for the c64. Looks every bit as good as its 16bit counterparts. Great job!

  • @strangeloop I think it was made only a short while ago... about 25 years after the original version...

  • @marcellobello2 Woah. Has it really been 23 years since Prince of Persia came out?!?!

    It feels like only yesterday.

  • "Another World" was written and developed on the Amiga 500, so its not really a SNES game!

  • So how does one run this game on the CCS64 emulator, I downloaded it from C64.com and it has a D64 and a CRT file, I tried to insert the CRT file but it doesn't run the cartridge and the D64 disk says something about flashing the thing. This is the first time a game came in this way.

  • @bloodmapedit CCS64 does not support this type of .crt file. Use VICE (2.2 or later)

  • @mrsid6581 I see, thanks!

  • Runs awesomely and looks beautiful considering its on a C64... Nice!

  • Wow, looks every bit as good as the Amiga version.

  • Stunning De-Remake!

  • Best graphics ever.

  • @wijse

It is lightyears ahead of Crysis :P

  • @Nightwish713 and, why couldnt the snes game "another world" be ported to c-64? the game engine is right here

  • Really nice! Thanks!

  • !!

  • Well holy crap.

  • Awesome stuff. Too bad we couldn't have had this 20 years ago.

  • This is awesome!

  • Impressive!!!!

  • MRSID just joined C64 elite with this release. Who needs PS3? This is so good.

  • Wow, this looks and plays just like the original version! Very impressive. I should try and beat this for once...

  • Epic!

  • Hey, I remember playing this game when I was 10 and I can tell you don't have to get the sword to pass the guard.

Just just go down and straight to the right side at the beginning, then jump to make a till fall from the roof. Make sure the guard come your way and hide in the roof until he's gone. Then you just have to walk to the door to finish the level :-)

  • Now do Sands of Time! ;)

    (sorry ,obvious lame joke)

  • ile sie nawkurwialem przy tej grze !

  • Amazing :)

  • GREAT!!

  • very impressive and it looks like it runs smoothly :D

  • I never finished the first level when I was a kid...

  • An all-time classic. Thanks for resurrecting the old memories!

  • Simply.fantastic!.the.C64.has.completely.come.back.now!

  • Wish this was put straight to a standard cart or d64 :( I dont want to buy a easyflash cart :( meh

  • Great, another must-have !!

  • I'm drooling. Seriously.

  • this is fucking awesome!

  • Fantastic!!

  • Mr. SID, wow! Lots of respect for doing the game. It looks perfect! Utterly perfect.

  • I loved Prince of Persia on the PC. I love the C64. Now that's a freakin good combination here. Absolutely gorgeous!

  • Holy crap, that looks great

  • OMG DO WANT!

  • Very impressive. I played it on the Amiga, and apart from the resolution being a bit lower on the C64, it looks identical.

  • ¡Awesome!

  • Great work Andreas! This looks awesome!

  • JUST PERFECT !

  • Amazing!
