Okay, to be honest, I loved both movies but I didn't really feel the same essence that the books captured. IwtV was direly miscast and QotD could have actually read the book.
But hey! This vid is fucking hott! I don't even like Brad Pitt! But Stuart Townsend makes one heluva sexy vampire...especially with the violin!
Actually I think IvtV was brilliantly cast with Kirsten Dunst and Tom Cruise rocking it! I agree that QotD could have done better though, even though Akasha and Marius weren't bad
Kirsten Dunst, yeah she did a surprizingly good job as Claudia but as good as Tom Cruise was as Lestat, he looked rediculous as a periodic vampire and I think he looked afraid to looks as though he was in love with Louis.
It actually pains me to admit that I have watched QotD and enjoyed it, but it has nothing to do with the book. But yeah, I loved Vincent Perez as Marius and I think Townsend could make a good Lestat if he wanted to.
Stuart is hot. I agree. But he ABSOLUTELY did NOT capture anything even Lestat(ish)! Trust me. Go read the book. And Tom rocked as Lestat. He was exactly like how Louis described (though Louis did embellish a bit).
