I've been in the market for a sub micro 3D heli for a while now. I was trying to decide between the ones in this video, but I'm starting to lean toward the new Blade mCPX. I feel like getting it, even though I'm still mad at E-flite for unveiling the B450 two months after I bought my B400. Lol
@brushless55 for me, currently, the novus 125cp(upgraded) or walkera 4G6(upgraded). They are currently the best micro 6ch heli's that I know of. There is also the V120D05 coming out soon, which is basically a V120D02 but with a belt drive tail instead of the shaft drive tail.
@brushless55 upgrades should include a new motor: either the TA31714 or the HP07. The Staytrue shaft and Staytrue head are not necessary, but very nice to have, they don't damage in crashes and help hold straight on high head speeds(I used to get much vibration before upgrading). Use the stock foam blades, they are the best to use, don't upgrade those! That is about it really. If you have any vibration, I find the plastic blade grips are the best to use, the metal ones seem to get bent easy.
@brushless55 no problem... and oh, one last upgrade, that is VERY important. You need to use 'Linear' batteries. They are sold at wowhobbies, helipal, clubheli, and some other places. The linear batteries give SO MUCH more POWER. It is like a two times the power of the stock batteries and it is needed for 3D flight. Stock battery and motor are just fine for fast forward flight, but any flipping or hovering you need to upgrade motor, and get linear battery.
@nickmcenjoy Compared to the mSR it is not as stable, but that is because this is a CP helicopter, not a FP helicopter like the mSR. The mSR is probably the best choice if you are moving up from coaxial helicopters. If you are a pretty good helicopter pilot though, a CP helicopter gives more room for learning more tricks. As for indoors, the mSR and Novus 125CP can be flown inside, but the 125cp requires a bit more space to do anything more than just hover.
@earthling1984 if you can fly the msr, you should be able to fly this. Quality seems pretty good as far as I have tested. Pretty durable and if you do break anything, it is easy and inexpensive to replace parts. The nice thing about the novus 125cp over the mSR is the 125cp can fly outdoors, even in some breeze, where the mSR wouldn't handle the wind very well.
I am a righty so I tend to make my left turns better flying my planes. I always work on my right turns on my computer simulator so they are about both even now.
its walkera 4g6 ,so better stock up on bevelgears ,,they loose teeth first ,and you have to take all heli apart to change it ,its positioned under the metal plate under the batteryholder/skids ,,i have the 4channel version hm4#6 with same shaftdriven tail ,,great flying man ,,these fly just like the big ones
@Nickpec10 I just have wanted a few more CP helicopters that I can learn more on. I have done planes for a while, and of course I will continue to do planes, but I wanted a couple new helicopters ;p
mine wont lift into the air for some reason. Im pretty much a novice when it comes to helis, so some advice please?

Hello!
How is your Novus 125 CP now? Still doing well? How does it compare to the mSR? Is it as stable? I want to have one indoor CP heli. Thanks.

@earthling1984 Thanks for your reply!
I can hover and move the mSR around. I cannot "nose-in" yet. But I really like to try an indoor CP heli.
How do you think about its quality? Thanks.
