When you die like this, its not that you turn into Dark Samus... you lose your ability to control yourself, thus Dark Samus is now controlling you. (Dark Samus is the one who infected you in Prime 3)

The only disappointment in this game was the fact that using hypermode was no big deal for Samus. Take a look at this vid- it is almost impossible to actually get corrupted unless you're not paying attention at all. At least, that's my opinion.

shazbotDX you see her suit is powered with a substance called phazon which is very dangerous radiation her older suit was damaged far from repair and they did have much time ti repair it so they used that suit but if you go into a state called hyper mode which lets you use the phazon as a weapon to get past certain types of enemys with ease if you dont use the phazon fast enoff it will corrupt the the suit and eventually you i think thats how it works i havent played the game in a while either
