I chose Richards and Carter not because of their availability, but for salary comparison. They're both cheaper and yet much better players than Gomez is.

Basically the Habs could've tried going after a number of free agents that were as good or better than Gomez for less money. But now they're stuck with him.

Huet était un gardien #2 comme tu peux voir avec ses performances avec Chicago. Ryder... il jouait même pu près de son talent. Koivu était ''Overaté'', son prix beaucoup trop haut pour son talent pi il fallait changer l'atmosphère dans le vestiaire, sa marchait pu, Lang trop blessé, Streit a peu être fait mal mais Weber va bientot pouvoir le remplacer en PP. Le seul que je suis un peu décu se serait Tanguay mais encore la il demande très cher en salaire.
