yes, ofcourse it stays. it doesnt have the script that tells it to chase you. but because of that its not actually rooted

Since it doesn't move and is stationary but still can attack from range it's considered rooted. Just like when a mage casts a spell that stops a mob from moving the mob is said to be rooted.

But hey if you would rather hear it be called something different then I will call it "immobile". Means basically the same thing but if it makes you happy then heck "Marry Christmas!".

They nerfed it for Fel Reavers and Doomwalker, but I think it still works on the mobs in Gnomeregan and the non-BC instances. I have yet to try it out in Wrath.

Fell Reavers? Their not, I've killed plenty of them. You just need to be in a group, I think the smallest group I killed one with was a three man, a 70 warrior and warlock and myself, a 63 priest (at the time) healing.
