@phluffhead96 I've owned a D'Agostino, believe it or not. Great guitar, should have kept it. It looked exactly like this one. But this is a Martin D41.
Man, is there any favorite song of mine you HAVEN''T covered?? Your Sweet Virginia lesson is truly excellent! Please do a lesson on this song/intro, ...
This is a great, simple song - which is what many great songs are when you cut down to it. A very good song for beginners as well, because it gets you playing those chords and working on a good strumming pattern. I love the bridge with the minor chords - that's what hits you where you live, IMO.
I love the Dead. I'm currently working on 'Help on the Way.' It may take years, but I'm strangely comfortable with that. Again, thanks for the post. By the way, I miss your fireplace background. You have become a headless friend that visits my house several times a week to show me guitar licks. And you never complain when I have you stop and start over and over. Thanks again.
Great job man !

chords are great but how about the actual intro melody that matters? instead of playing over it.

@tnoonan3 Someone requested I play the rhythm part, so that's what I played. The rhythm part also matters.
