  • or is it a .243?

  • im 12 years old and i shot a elk 6 by 6 big bull but congrats victor on your 2 nice does

  • he should have a bow at 12?

  • thats fucked up if you put that deer on ur hood...im a hunter and everything...but theres limits for those who dont want to see that

  • once again this is family property and that was only to transport the deer, not to drive it from city to city.

  • DNR Officers salary $41,000

    Confiscated rifle $450

    Teaching the boy to poach.....priceless

  • as a michigan deer hunter i see no problem wit this at all and they din not break any rules if you have read you michigan rule book, you can purchase 1 doe permit every day you want till they run out for private lands as long as your dmu has a anterless season, i dont see these guys breaking any rules in the state of michigan.

  • I'm a Mi deer hunter who has read the book. This was during the Sept youth hunt, not the regular firearm. 1 kill tag.

  • Must have been an enjoyable time for both son and dad. Unfortunately however, the state of Michigan allows a youth hunter to kill only one deer during the youth hunt. By allowing your son to kill two, you disregarded the law and taught your son to do the same. Please read and understand all the laws before you hunt!

  • I'm pretty sure as I am not his father just the uncle that put the video together, I believe last year if you had a combination license it was OK for you to tag two deer if on private property. Which this was our family land up north.

  • Nope, sorry...read the regulations for 2006. The youth hunt allows a young hunter to shoot ONE deer during the youth hunt. No matter where you hunt or what sex deer you harvest. One deer means one deer. That's the law.

  • Plus combination liceses are for bucks only. Does can be tagged with the combo tags only during the bow season. This video clearly shows the illegal harvesting of two does in September - the youth hunt.

  • umm... ya good vid but im 13 and that was a very very close shot, this is october 13 and i went hunting this morning, no luck though, but umm ya congrats.

  • wow good shot for a little guy

  • There will be a youth firearm deer season on September 23-24, 2006, on all lands in Michigan. Youths 10-16 years of age may take one deer during this special two-day season. Youths 10 and 11 cannot hunt deer with a firearm and are restricted to archery-only hunting. Youths 12 and 13 may hunt with firearms on private lands only"

  • And now the worst part comes, field dressing the deer.

  • supper video gotta love it my boy was12 when shot his first now just waiting for the 2 girls to get old enough

  • good shot feels good dont it i remembar my fist too hold your head high nice doe

  • You taught him well, letting him drag his prey out by himself! I would have let him do the skinning and dressing, too. You might want to use a bigger charge and/or larger caliber next time to kill the deer right on the spot. But I suppose you considered this too strong for a twelve year old!? I guess you made the right decision. Congratulations to both of you!!

  • Nice! I didnt get my first deer till I was 19 your a lucky kid to get 2!!!

  • good shoot both of you im going to hunt this sunday i hope to be lucky as you.i wish to have a mauser myself but cant find one in good shape

  • great job, pretty good shot for 12. what kind of gun is he using? i use a swedish mauser and iron sights, hits pretty hard.

  • Wow! Rifle hunting at 12! Were was that when I was 12? Great job Victor! What it must feel like to have venison in the freezer in sept.

  • beautiful. that just makeds me want that heart poundin shot to come even faster good job victor.
