This is fantastic! I never knew there was a video for this song. I think this came out in '89 when 'dance' music was really changing quickly. I think alot of the girl trios (well, producers) were scrambling to figure out how to jockey for position and I think Company B came back with a well-done track here. It still has the percussion and the 'miami' elements but definitely more chunky and housey. No wigs! But hey, this lineup was pretty good, even minus the trademark wigs.
This is such a well written classic pop song. Should have been a bigger smash. I especially love the keyboard riff that's in the background during the chorus. Lori L's vocals (and the rest of the girls) slightly less-than-perfect vocals lent such an air of authenticity and earnestnesss to the Company B tracks not heard in today's music.
OMG! I LOVE this record and am kinda stunned there's a video since it isn't from the original incarnation of the group. And agreed, I bought the 12" when it came out and was quite pleasantly surprised w/it. Thanks a mill for this!
