it's because of the weather, my dear. It is much warmer in the Philippines compared to the US. You would not want to see Charice dripping in sweat just because she is wearing leather jacket, leather pants and thick clothes in a TROPICAL COUNTRY like the Philippines. It's not being childish or what not, it's adaptation.... That's a good observation though.
