Tornado blow really is the most the effective weapon against Magma Man, though.

Thing is, Splash Woman's weapon is a LIGHTNING Trident, so no water there. It's not logical everywhere, like where (SPOILER) L.Trident kills Concrete Man.

I managed to beat Magma Man with only the Tornado Blow... I think it's because he got hit by it and jumped right before it went offscreen to get hit again.

Hey!!! This video helped me a lot for time attacking Magma Man. And I am proud to say after 2 straight days of this time attack stage, I finally beat your best score of 1:28:35 with 1:28:13, I'm currently #1 on the PS3 rankings.

You can kill Magma Man with 4 Tornado Blows, but a tornado must to connect exactly with him and you have to let him do enough damage before pausing.

You know, yesterday I learned you could trigger the Jewel Man mini-boss with the Hornet Chaser, now I learn you can not only Concrete Shot a magma beam, but blow it away with a Laser Trident?

I'm slowly learning many new strategies for these time attacks thanks to guys like you. Appreciate it.

what do you mean trigger the jewel man mini boss with hornet chaser??

You know how normally it drops a few boulders before the mini-boss comes down itself? If you fire a couple of Hornet Chasers, they will go to the top of the screen where the mini-boss is. Connecting with these shots will interrupt the boulder dropping sequence and cause the mini-boss to immediately fall to the ground. This gives you the opportunity to blast a barrage of Plug Balls and quickly defeat him, saving a few seconds in the process.
