  • No, it doesnt have independent service...and you would get onto the top of the elevator by opening the shaft door one floor above the car...

  • Nice Video

  • Does that elevator have independent service?

  • Yeah...I found that out and never used it...I also just realized that I sound like a weird little kid doing this...I'm 14 now, so I sound a little moe "mature" :P

  • Just thought you might like to know, the other key switch is called Hoist Way Enable. It allows you to run the cab even though the doors are open. It's a mechanic's use key. I would highly recommend not messing it, because if not used properly you could mess up the elevator opertion. You could seriously injure yourself or possibly fall into the pit.

  • How does a service person access the elevator shaft, if there's no door in the machine room to it? Is there a hatch in the top of that elevator? Or is there another door that leads to the shaft somewhere else?

  • How did ya get the Keys?

  • Do you have a key for the outside lockout switch at 0:03?

  • @elevatorgeek1234 ... yeah, in the office

  • Thanks for the info!!!!

  • hwenab is the inspection service mode on elevators.

  • And, no, I can not copy the keys, because I don't know who ya are and the keys are not mine to keep. I borrowed them from the office with permission.

  • Relays are electronic switches the control the motor, cab power, accessories (floor indicator etc.), doors. Example: like a light switch when it is on the doors will open on the elevator and when it's off, the doors will close. Get it? Hope I made it understandable.

  • what does it mean when an elevator is relay controlled?

  • can u send me a copy of the elevator keys

  • @Firealarm101 You can buy elevator keys off eBay. The H2395 is for IS/Fan/Light/Emer Serv, the H2389 is for fire service, the H1846 is for the stop switch and the H1848 is for the lockout.

  • @msj191961 what does the H2001 key do?

  • @88888kitty1 Sorry, I don't know any of the H2000 series keys.

  • @msj191961 oh well!!!

  • According to Wikipedia, HWENAB is for inspectors who ride the elevator from the car top which is also what hwy. or hoistway access is for.

  • Ok, I'll try...

  • Dover Inground Hydraulic elevator installed in the late 1990's with Impulse fixtures. Maintained by ThyssenFunk. Tell your grandmother to make sure ThyssenKrupp keeps the Dover label. They LOVE to "ruin" Dovers and make them their own. :(

  • @suzzex Ur right!
