Not being negative, but did anybody de-louse the animal before handling it? Lice, fleas, ticks, etc? It gives one the "crawlies" just watching. The ape would appreciate, too.
Correction. Since posting, I have found that lice that infect apes is not the same that infect Human. And vice-versa. Thus, the keeper is safe from infection.
